Excellent antenna
Bought for qrp field work and this is my second one of these manual screwdriver antennas. Excellent antenna. Get close by sound then turn to lower swr even more

It was a great buy ... Everything was as published

Poor quality and support
Broke when adjusting it after light use. Sent it to Yaesu for repair. No word from them for months. After several contact attempts they said the antenna was not repairable. Waste of time and money.

SWR's out of control
I had to return it, could not get SWR's down to even 5. I was using it with a FT-897 and AT-97 antenna tuner with my camper. I love Yaesu products, not certain this is their best endeavor.

Reasonably priced QRP antenna option
I use this antenna with my FT-897D and have had some excellent results with it. I have made 500+ mile contacts on 40m running 20 watts. But, this is not a plug and play antenna. It is highly recommended that an antenna analyzer is used for set up. Mounts to standard camera tripods and takes down easily. Compact and light weight.
