Great quality, great price!
These things have been awesome so far! We recently got gifted a ton of Wii games, including several FPS games (Several Call of Duty games, Cabellas games, 007, etc). These games were so difficult to play using just the Wiimote and nunchuck. I am not a hardcore gamer, but have played since 1990, and it was even hard for me to do well. My kids gave up on these games and focused on others (sports, racing, etc). I saw these while searching for the retro controllers and thought I would give them a shot- you can't go wrong with the price. I was worried that they might not perform as well and a Nintendo brand zapper, but I have been impressed so far. It is SO MUCH EASIER to play these games now! My kids are 10 and 9, and can play well enough to make it fun. I introduced them to the multiplayer mode on 007 Goldeneye and now they are hooked! They are also playing the Cabelas games now too. The Call of Duty games are still too much for them, but that is just due to the story lines and difficulty levels. Overall, great quality guns, they have worked flawlessly for us. This has been the best accessory we have bought for the Wii, and this was a price that cant be beat!

They work like they are supposed to.
Do not listen to the negative reviews. I almost did, but luckily I did not. Yes, the bottom latch is hard to open, and yes, there are no instructions as to how to put it together. However, it's pretty simple to figure things out. It definitely adds to the experience. I bought them to play with resident evil umbrella chronicles and darksiders chronicles. I also purchased the bootleg nunchucks for the wii controller. Everything works as it's supposed to. Played for several hours with friends last night and no issues whatsoever. If in the event that they break anytime soon, I will give a follow up to this review. However, I don't see that happening. Buy the product, and have a good time. It's $9 for two guns, while at the store I saw them for $20 a piece. Just be patient with the delivery. They are shipping from china, so they took about 3 weeks to arrive. I wasn't aware the seller was in china until after I ordered. Even then, everything went without a hiccup. A little bit of box damage, but the plastic guns were fine.

Cheap (but flimsy) alternative to the real deal
First off, please realize these are not the official Nintendo Zappers. They're replicas, and they come in a clear unmarked bag with no instructions or packaging. However, I've spent some time comparing it to the real one, and they work just as well (for a fraction of the price). They're nice and cheap and get the job done. This is also currently the best value for your dollar on Amazon right now (as of February 2016) - there are several listings for single guns for $7 or $8, and I only paid $9 for this 2-pack (again, as of February 2016). This is great for playing with a friend, or even just for having a backup in case one breaks. However, I don't see that being a problem - I've already gotten plenty of use out of both of my guns and have played through 3 different games with them and they're still working great. However, I will take one star away because the quality control isn't that great. The clip that holds the nunchuck wires in on one gun was basically broken upon arrival. However, this is a very minor annoyance and is purely a cosmetic issue that doesn't effect the product's performance in any way whatsoever.Highly recommended!

Good price if you really want the zapper guns
So I've tried playing various first person shooters on Wii without the zapper, I'm a firm believer in mouse and keyboard, so I was skeptical before playing. Without the zapper, I've spent 15 minutes max trying to pretend I was enjoying myself. I ordered these zappers because they are dirt cheap, and hoped that just having a single unit in the hands that games would gain some sense of control. Still not the case, FPS games on the Wii are just awful. Games that use gun controllers that people love; Duck Hunt, Terminator 2, VirtuaCop, Silent Scope, these are all games on rails and that's why it's enjoyable to have some sort of toy gun in your hands because you can worry just about the shooting. To me it just doesn't translate well because if an enemy is behind you, you need to focus on one side of the screen and you're at the mercy of the game to turn you as fast as it allows you to turn. So a lot of my issues with this zapper is there is no games I've played that make it useful. My other problem with the guns is the build quality. The amount of flex in them makes me feel like they'll snap easily. I'm not using some ultra tight kung-fu grip and trying to twist it to death, it's just the nature of the thin plastic they''re made out of. My second issue is the clip on the back of the gun. One of them opened up to clasp the nunchuck cord without issue. The second one it simply wouldn't budge so I had to use a screw driver. I don't see them surviving a couple dozen open and closes without something breaking. Overall the zapper is mediocre because the quality reflects the amount you pay, and the amount of Wii games that make these enjoyable seems to be non-existent.

Very Good Non-Brand Name Gun for the Wii
At first I was very suspicious of this item. The reviews say it is just two gun attachments in a bag without instructions. Well, you do not need instructions for them because it is very easy to understand how to attach the wii controller to it. I was playing Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles with it, and it really does improve the experience. You can let the nunchuk hang freely to be used by your other hand, or you can remove a cover on the bottom of the "gun" and move the Nunchuk cord through it and attach on the back side. It depends on the game you're playing.I think, as others said in their reviews, the plastic might feel cheap, but I held in in my hands, tested it and it causes no problems at all. It is not shiny, like the genuine Wii products. It does not bend easily, nor is it fragile. For the price I got it for (currently $6.50 for package of 2) cannot be beat. There are no functional drawbacks in this gun accessory.
