Large Print Scrabble Tiles

When my mom developed macular degeneration and her vision began deteriorating, she had to give up playing her beloved game, Scrabble, because she difficulty seeing the letters. I found these large print Scrabble pieces on Amazon and we decided to give them a try. To my mom's amazement, she was able to make out the letters. The black print on white background and larger size of these Scrabble pieces make it easier for her to read versus the original standard size, black on tan pieces. It's not perfect. It would be nice if the letters/pieces could be made even larger, but then they wouldn't fit on the Scrabble board. I do wish I could find a Scrabble board game that's actually designed for the visually challenged but this solution certainly helps in the short term.

The font is not all that much larger than the normal tiles but the black and white makes it much easier to read. My mom mom loves these.

I wish the letters were larger but it's still easier for my mother (who has glaucoma) to see than the original wooden ones. The thick black letters on the white background stand out better.

The tiles are the same size as the originals, just the letters are so much bigger. We love them!

My husband has both Macular Degeneration and Glacoma so he loves the larger numbers we ordered for his large print Scrabble board. He is able to play his favorite game again. Thank to Amazon!

My grandmother can see them. They are large letters but same size time.

The tiles are not quite the size of Scrabble tiles. They are square and Scrabble tiles are not.

Got these for my grandmother. She and her Scrabble group LOVE them.
