I love this toilet paper holder! It's heavy and very sturdy. Other reviewers commented that their item came without screws or hangers of any sort. Mine came with screws and anchors perfect for holding such a sturdy piece. It's not pure white, mostly because of the heavy distressing. If you want the distressed look, you'll love this! Personally, I'm going to dry-brush a couple of layers of white just to make it stand out a little more against my paint, but that's entirely personal preference. It would look great in the bathroom as it is, but I have a much brighter white towel holder and I want the colors to match a little more closely. It is a bit unusual to have to unscrew the bar to change the toilet paper, but it's really not difficult at all. It literally only takes a few extra seconds (maybe 15 seconds) instead of the almost-instant change you can do with a regular roll holder. Not a big deal at all. If I later have problems with unscrewing it, I will probably just put a regular plastic roll-holder in place of the metal bar included with this. I really don't see any negatives at all in this product. I love it!

I bought this holder for my bathroom. I have an old ornate mirror to go with it. I'm glad I made the purchase because it looks great on my dark teal wall. The nails might need a little white paint touch up if they bother you, but I left them alone. The holder has a nice weight to it and it looks great. I used the anchors for the wall and it's nice and sturdy. I'm happy with my purchase.

Absolutely Beautiful! My house is 100 years old. Couldn't stand the cheap looking ones flippers or new homes use. I keep mine Beautiful, historic but upgraded.

I purchased this for a recent bath remodel and it looks very beautiful when installed. It is graceful and high quality. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the roller is one of those old fashioned, screw-in models which is very tedious to open so you can change toilet paper rolls when needed. I am absolutely NOT KIDDING when I tell you that it takes a full FIVE MINUTES to change a roll of toilet paper! But no worries because I found a replacement roller that fits well and looks awesome with this holder. MODONA STAINLESS STEEL Replacement Toilet Paper Roller - Rubbed Bronze - 5 Year Warrantee I simply discarded the roller that came with this holder and replaced it with a roller that is also beautiful and it takes 5 SECONDS to change the toilet paper. I’m really satisfied with my purchase, but if you want a convenient way to change the toilet paper you will have to add $10.00 to the cost in order to purchase a roller that is more functional.

I love this so much. I purchased it a while ago and recently painted my toilet walls in preparation for attaching this holder. It makes me happy every time I see it. It’s probably my favourite feature of the house now. You can’t get anything remotely similar in Australia so it was a worthy investment that gives my house a lovely historic touch.

Très joli porte papier toilette, mais dommage qu'il n'était pas de la couleur qui était annoncée ,blanc antique , le mien était couleur jaune comme sur les photos avec une finition en plastique pour le support du papier, j'aurais préféré en fer forgé comme sur les photos ... Je le reprendrais si c'était sur que ce soit la couleur blanc antique car je le trouvais vraiment beau , dommage.
