I really like these noodles
I really like these noodles; they are a great way of incorporating fiber into your diet and of bulking up your meal without adding calories – guilt free indulgence, something I am always after!! ;) However since they do not really have any flavor on their own you do need to add something to build up a taste – they will take up a flavor, just make sure you dry them well after boiling. I like them with tomato sauce & tuna or with some vegetables & lean meat in a wok. The only down point of these noodles could be the initial smell; when you open the package they do smell a little of fish but once rinsed, that smell is completely gone. And of course do not expect that full on pasta taste because you will be disappointed – they are the next best thing though!;) I haven't tried the Miracle rice yet, but I must say I prefer angel hair over fettuccine.

Not exactly like pasta but a good low-carb alternative
You have to drain and rinse thoroughly, then 'dry fry' in a pan to get the rest of the water out. Add a tasty sauce. These taste like nothing so bland sauce + shiratki = BLAND. Add a good chunky sauce. The texture is a little chewier than regular pasta so don't expect it to have the exact same mouthfeel as normal pasta. But I really like these, I've even put them in a broth to make "ramen"! Take a chance! If you don't like them, send the rest of your package to me! :D

I am familiar with this product and its a great substitute for noodles
I am familiar with this product and its a great substitute for noodles. However, this particular ad claims it is for Passover and the photo shows that it has the proper certification. The item I received was not the one with this certification and can not be used for Passover.

This is a great product when trying to avoid wheat or rice
This is a great product when trying to avoid wheat or rice.. I love the texture however some wimps think it is too slippery. There is a grapey earthy fragrance when first opened ( it is a root) but when rinsed and cooked it is like any pasta.
J**!
Keep on looking
Rubber bands, yup, this is what these taste like- only rubber bands probably have at least some flavor. The texture has an unsettling "chewy'! Strange product and not worth the money. I couldn't give these away!

Good
These are tasteless (as long as you prepare them properly), but add bulk to a low carb meal. Be sure to follow directions to rinse and prepare them.

The smell is horrendous.
Too hard to get over the smell. They definitely feel like noodles. But the smell...
