RockShox Reverb Seat Post 30.9 420mm (MMX MNT)

EDIT: Since my last review they have replaced the post and it has worked fine. Just make sure to be careful with the barbs if you've got an older one.I can't comment on the actual performance of the seatpost inself, as it broke before I even had a chance to use it. The installation is fairly simple and involves mounting the remote to the handlebar, routing the hydraulic lines to the post, then resizing the line to the correct length and bleeding the lines using the included bleed kit. Unfortunately the barb that the line connects to on the post (a simple threaded nut with a press fitting) broke off as I was removing the line. This tiny part is easily replacable, unfortunaely I called SRAM/Rock Shox and they told me they are out of this part, and if I damaged it (ha) I need to go to a bike shop and pay to have them send the entire post in, otherwise wait a month or so until they can get new parts in. I asked why it would take so long to get the barb, and they told me that they are moving to a "more robust design" and they are not available yet. In short, the part is flawed and too many people have broken them. I'll revise my review once it is fixed, but until then I don't recommend buying this seatpost.

Sweet! Now I can transition from snail uphill to "watch out suckuhs!" downhill, seamlessly! If I buy another bike, I'll be taking my new seat post with me.
