Several of these 'chip clips' I've purchased in the retail stores have broken or have weak springs. I needed these not only for bags and wrappings, but they also work great to hold down pleated shades covering a window against the door when it's metal, using the magnet on them.Only reason it's 4/5 stars is because every single one of them in the package (of 10) was scratched up on the clear plastic.Let's see how they hold up to use... and I'll update later.

It is pretty rare for me to submit a poor review. My 3 star rating is the best I could rate these given only of the very weak magnet used. They hardly have the strength to stick to my refer on their own without anything on them. I have not yet tried them to actually cop things together. Perhaps all other functions are exceptionally good. In that case I would rate them at 4 stars. They were not expensive and I shoulda known better

I bought this with minimal expectations. However they are very flimsy and I broke three very easily without exerting a lot of pressure. It has been the worst investment I have made to date.
