Q: is it lined with water proof material on the inside

No it is not but the material is quite thick

Q: i am a larger lady would it fit me

The ties including apron across are 6 foot on mine but remember you need to tie the ties. The tie around the neck is just under 2ft I think but you also have to tie it. The length ends above the knee and I am average height. The apron's front including sides measure about 22" across on mine. I hope that helps.

Q: Is this apron machine washable and if so, how does it wash? Does it fade or bobble when washed?

Yes it is machine washable. I washed at 30 degrees but when it came out it had really faded and looked a complete different colour. I sent mine back for a refund.
