This works on cashmere and wool. I used it rather vigorously and still, it didn't rip or tear anything. It does a great job. Remember to empty it out after each use so that it doesn't get too full. Worth the price. It works really well and is easy to use.

I have been looking for a fabric shaver or we call it a de piller for quite some time. I decided to try this fabric shaver and I’m glad I did. It’s very easy to run it over your clothes and it doesn’t matter whatever material it is it will remove the little pills that gather on your fabric. It’s very easy to use, it works very fast so it has a high speed and I’ve not seen any fabric damage on anything that I’ve used it on. If you are in need to clean up your clothes from the extra pills that seem to magically appear then this is the perfect fabric shaver for you. I was a little concerned at first because it felt like it was not the best quality, but it has surprised me with how well it works. It’s easy to pull the little gathering cup off and dump it out and slide it back on. I was very happy with it.

AMAZING!! This little shaver helps revitalize shirts and sweaters that pill. It is very effective and does the job. Makes a garment look like new. Only complaint would be the little compartment to hold the lint is a little small, but very easy to remove and dispose during use.

This sleek but not very durable shaver, is extremely handy for dealing with those pesky fabric pills that plague you.User tips: Don’t over tax the machine with pressure, gentle repeat passes over taught material is the way. Remember to be gentle with the machine, it’s fragile, don’t run it for too long. Fabric pills only, avoid loose stitches and threads at all cost. Watch your fingers, there are razor blades inside. Clean the machine with it’s included brush, and dump the lint trap after every use. And try not to let the lint trap fill above 70% before you dump it.I have used this on: Two pair of nylon outdoor pant thighs, a singlet, and a rayon shirt. And it has worked very well, mine come with its own batteries so there is that. One important thing, as I disassembled the machine to clean it, it was made very clear that the motor was very fragile.

I was really happy to find out that Phillips made a fabric shaver and it was reasonably priced. I have a tendency to like things in the color blue so that made it even better.I bought this to help out with some crochet projects and to get my leggings looking less dingy.Not only did it remove all the little fuzzballs From the legs of my leggings making them look and feel brand new, I was able to bring some new life into some older crochet projects. A few of my handmade Sweaters and handbags were looking overly fuzzy and one gentle roll of the fabric shaver over it and it looks like I just finished weaving in ends.I have to admit that I probably became a little bit obsessed with this fabric shaver the first two weeks I had it. I was carrying it in my purse and every opportunity that I think that I could whip it out and ask someone to fabric shave them, I pretty much did. That being said it’s also reasonably sized and didn’t take up too much room in my smaller medium sized handbag.All of my blankets, clothing, pet beds, and accessories have all been shaved neatly.It’s taken a lot of self-control not to pull out the sweater bin in the middle of summer and start shaving those.Anyway, I highly recommend this fabric shaver to anybody that’s been hesitant to buy one in the past. Not only is this one really affordable compared to other ones out there, it works fantastically. It even came with batteries.

This product worked wonderfully.It removed all the pilling and did not damage the fabric. It was super quick too, and I used it on two 12x12 pillow covers.Did the job I needed and price wasn’t too bad. I’ve included a before and after too.
