This little device exceeded my expectations. When I bought myOeno, I thought that it will only help me understand better the complexity of the wine I was drinking but it is going way beyond that... it suggested a couple of alternatives which I tested and truly enjoyed ! The recommendations were spot on.Also, it is a great conversation starter at party and quite fun to use. The assistant makes the whole process really simple and enjoyable.Overall, a brilliant product that I recommend without hesitation and that I will definitely offer for Christmas to my friends

Most of the reviews on here are spot-on as far as performance, as it could definitely be better. One thing to say right away is that it ONLY WORKS WITH RED WINE. Somewhere on the Amazon page, it suggests that, but nowhere does it say that it definitively WON'T WORK ON WHITE WINE....but it doesn't, so don't purchase if you're primarily into white wine.Yes it's true that some/most of the Italian and American wines are not in their database, but I'd like to think that in a year from now, it'll be updated with everyone who uses one of these. That may be naive, but hopefully it comes to fruition. What it does do, is log every wine that you try and you have the opportunity to write a review on it and rate it. If you take it seriously and you're into it, it's fun. If you're looking for it to blow your mind, then lower your expectations. Overall, it's fun if you drink reds and are patient with it.

I love wine but I have always been quite bad at describing my tasting: I was quite intrigued when I came to that product on Amazon and decided to give it a chance.I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the first test I made: picked up a Beaujolais I like, got the result and then the app suggested a few similar wines including a couple that I already knew and liked too!I believe this product will entertain my next dinners with friends!

I like the idea of a scanner like this that can help me understand the wines I am drinking. The concept is good, but the execution is lacking. The first big issue is the app itself. They try to give it this virtual Somm kind of feel. The problem is the interface is so clunky it only works about 2/3 of the time time, if that. The next problem is the existing database of wines is 99% French. This means that if you are a US wine consumer it will almost never find your wine in the database. This also means that if you want it to find something comparable, it will only find French wines. The next problem is I don't see how it can summarize and show me a tasting profile across several wines. Another problem is the help facilities are non-exsitent and there are certain tasting terms I would like to have a better definition for in the app, but good luck finding it. Beyond that, the thing is great. Oh well.

I really liked MyOeno. I was usually getting to buy the same bottles from the same grapes or same winery by lack of larger experience. This little tool showed me a lot of equivalent wines that I could choose from and I was quite impressed that its directions were quite accurate. Definitively helpful when you are not a pro enologist...

I would like to know why the My oeno app is nt working Even the My oeno web page.... I cannot use My oeno since April.24th 2022..… its been a long time i bought it , every thing was ok , but......Hope You receive this and check what's happening

Cool concept, but the lack of instructions (in the app and virtually none on/in the box) and not being able to pair it to most of the devices I own was frustrating. The device wouldn't pair to anyone's phone in the house. I was going to return it, but my Zoomer younger brother got it to work on a tablet.

App is not available in Canada, then why sell it here, absolute waste of money.

J’ai acheté MyOeno à mon père pour son anniversaire. Il est amateur de vin et de technologie, j'aurais pas pu trouver mieux ! Il est ravis, et maintenant il peut enfin associer les notions de ses cours d’œnologie avec la pratique.En plus d'être précis, l'application est super simple d'utilisation. En un rien de temps on a accès aux informations et on peut en apprendre plein sur ce qui caractérise le vin. Un vrai cadeau à faire à des connaissance, ou pour soi !
