A general review
Hello,The packing was good, delivery was good, the product is excelent for what I need it for, crafting concealment suits. This product used to be cheaper in general but prices are going up on the general market so it is what it is. Still this was the best offer I couls find for what I needed.

Does the job
Does the job but you don’t get much in a tube so it’s not a particularly cheap solution. Expensive for what is basically just thick glue.

Ideal glue for boots
Used to stick new heel soles on my most comfy walking boots after removing the old soles and roughing up/cleaning new soles. Left the boots clamped for 48 hours before trimming and so far so good. Lots of walking in wet mud over the weekend and all good. Thumbs up to the sticking power of original shoe goo.

Gives shoes a second or third life
Have used this stuff for many years to repair shoes that aren't suited to stick-on rubber soles, and in many ways it's much more versatile. You can build up the corner of heels for example where they may wear unevenly. It's the consistency of treacle and although transparent, once it's been out and about on your shoe it dulls down and merges with the surrounding material. Don't buy the black version though if there's any flexibility needed. Unless the formula has changed since I tried it several years ago, it drys solid and relatively brittle. It drys very quickly to the touch although leave overnight for thick applications to really set properly. After about 5-10 minutes you can mould it a little with a wet finger if it's run a little out of shape, and actually a little dampness after application helps it to cure. If the surface is prepared properly ( degreased and I roughen a little with sandpaper to allow a good key) , it has good adhesion. This product has got pretty expensive over the years from all suppliers, but it can be used as glue too where flexibility is needed, so is ideal for trainers where you want to give them a new lease of life.

USED FOR MAKING RUNNING SHOES LAST A LITTLE LONGER
I've used this stuff, off and on, for many years. As an under-pronator, the outward edges of my soles wear much quicker than the rest...So, I use this stuff to build up these areas, and it usually allows me to get more wear fromsome shoes, rather than have to replace them, when a good section of the sole still has agood dollop of tread left....The good - it saves quite a bit of money (doing the repairs as per above)The less good - it's getting ridiculously expensive nowadays, even for quite a small tube. And it's stickyness can make it rather awkward to shape and form = but it does need to besticky obvo... something like a lollypop stick, or a 12 inch hacksaw blade snapped in half can help. Also letting it part set, and then having a 2nd attempt at shaping/forming can pay dividends.Other stuff - it's got some quite nasty ingredients in it...So wear gloves, food hygiene or disposable type perhaps, and if you're going to throw out an empty tube - give some thought to disposal - it needs to be kept away from water / nature / members of the family with 4 legs, etc etc

Works fine(-ish)
The glue reminds me of bicycle mastic (the glue used to fix bicycle tires). I've already glued a couple of shoes and they have been working fine for ... FEW days (previously I had used the wrong glue and the sole had come off again after one use).UPDATE: my son's shoe (teenager, typical school life) is broken again, days after fixing it, my shoe (having a much less intense use) is still working! Actually i suspect the problem with the first shoe is the polystyrene-like stuff that the shoe has underneath, in contact with the sole, which may void the glue grip, and the irregular contact surface (lots of holes) which reduces the contact area.I'd still recommend the product.
