Put an end to my kitchen chaos
I read about the value and efficiency of having multiples of the same-sized storage containers like this. After years of fighting chaos in my kitchen with different sized and shaped storage containers with various lids, I decided to try this approach. I am so glad I did. I got rid of everything but these. They are a good size for storing things in my kitchen. If I need more space, I use a second container. I just have to reach in and grab a container and a lid and I know that they will fit. This shape is very stackable to store or in the freezer. The quality is good. It's glass. Each to clean in the dishwasher. Reusable.

Lid fit issues
First, I love love love the shape. So much easier to stack, keep the lids in order, etc. Round storage containers waste a lot of space. That said, some of the lids on this are pretty loose fitting. I can work with it, but it wouldn't take it in the car to a picnic or whatever. Yes, I could've ordered new lids, but I'm not going to. Just be aware that it might not be waterproof.

game changer for meal prep
I eat a whole food, plant based diet. I also camp once a month for 6 - 10 days. Because of this, I must prep all of my meals in advance of each trip and then try to fit them into a dorm room sized fridge. These dishes are the perfect size (3 cups). Chili, pasta sauce, curry etc etc. all stacked nicely in my tiny rolling home's fridge. The rectangular shape assures no wasted space and I have just enough food without waste or trying to figure out how to store leftovers. At home I can make a big batch of something and freeze in these dishes. When frozen, pop the "ice cube" out of the dish and put it in a freezer bag. To eat I just drop the frozen entree back in the dish and heat it up. So perfect.
