VELUX Active Indoor Climate Sensor (KLA 300)

Automating roof windows and blinds is only as dependable as the telemetry driving it. Standard thermostats fail to account for the micro-climates that develop directly beneath pitched rooflines, but the KLA 300 handles the task with exceptional precision.Telemetry & Sensor Performance:Triple-Metric Monitoring: Tracking temperature, relative humidity, and $\text{CO}_2$ levels simultaneously provides genuine air-quality regulation rather than simple threshold switching.Response Curves: The sensor registers rapid temperature and humidity spikes quickly—essential for automated venting over high-humidity zones like kitchens or modern open-plan living areas.Hysteresis & Thresholds: The algorithmic deadband is well-engineered; windows open to purge stale air or heat buildup smoothly without constant, erratic open-and-shut cycles.Installation & Build Quality:The discrete, wall-mounted enclosure blends cleanly into contemporary finishes without drawing the eye. Battery installation is straightforward, and communication with the central VELUX Active gateway remained rock-solid during setup, pairing instantly without signal drops through solid partition walls.A thoroughly engineered, set-and-forget component that transforms motorized roof glazing from a novelty switch into an intelligent passive ventilation system. Essential kit for maintaining indoor air quality.

Excellent kit! We needed an additional sensor to go in the babies room. This arrived promptly and was very easy to connect to the Velux Active app. We paired it to our daughters room and now that switch controls both her velux windows allowing us to shut both with just one click. Ideal being able to see the temperature of her room through out the night/day. Pricey for what it is but to be expected as the windows aren’t cheap let’s be honest. Highly recommend if like us you’ve got multiple rooms with multiple Velux Integra windows.

Amazing Amazing

I loved this system once it is actually setup and running. If gives you temperature, humidity and co2 ratings fof the area in which the sensor is located. It also allows you to control roller shutters, windows and blinds when local to the unit. It only allows you to control roller shutters and the window vent remotely. My only gripe with the system is that it is a nightmare to setup and don't even talk to me about adding another sensor at a later stage. I have spent hours on the setup process and a couple of hours on the phone to Velux to sort the system out. So, a great recommendation if you are technical and have staying power. Not such a great recommendation otherwise. The usual only supports 2.4wifi just add to the challenges.

Toles Produkt, funktioniert super.

Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit, ppm co2 . Automatische Belüftung mit app einstellbar .
