it fit into the location that we needed it to fit. Simple application. Easy to program.

Just what I was looking for securing currency and documentation. Quality made, a good size and securely mounted.

I got 2 of these for my daughters in college. Works great to store meds, extra keys, cash etc. I added a cable master lock (Master Lock 719D Steel Cable with Integrated Outdoor Padlock with Key, 1 Pack) to secure it to the bed frame. You will have to drill out the holes in the back just a bit to get the cable through the safe wall. Highly recommend it for any colllege student.

This little "safe" is just about perfect for what I needed. Would I keep the crown jewels in it?... nope. Will it keep little hands away from a loaded handgun?... you betcha. Does it fit nicely on my closet shelf?... yep. The only downside is the electronic keypad makes a VERY loud beeping sound with every press. The kind of sounds I'm not looking to make in the middle of the night while going for my gun. Easy fix: open the door, remove the three screws holding the cover plate to the backside of the door, pop the circuit board off of its holder, find the piezo (little round cylindrical speaker with a hole in the center), grab some pliers, pull it off the circuit board, and chuck it in the trash. Problem fixed. While doing this, the ribbon cable (that runs between the keypad and circuit board) came off. Pay attention to its orientation and it slips back in where it came out.

I bought this safe several months back and, after having lived with it for a bit, I feel I can recommend it. It's a good size for holding quite a bit of "stuff". If you have a few larger items to store, such as handguns, I'd recommend building a small shelf to place inside, so that they don't sit on top of each other. Doing this greatly increases the utility of the safe and helps reduce clutter and confusion when you want/need to access the safe's contents. Pros: Easy to set an access code. Easy to mount. Quality construction. Good size for many applications. Opens reliably every time. Cons: Could use a removeable shelf to increase it's utility. The knob to open the door is not particularly easy to use; it requires some dexterity. Would suggest Sentry modifiy the knob so that it is slightly larger, and/or protrudes out a bit more, and/or rubberize it for easier gripping and quicker opening of the door.
