Complete printed documentation for the pfSense firewall.
I reviewed this book. It is a great introduction to pfSense. The author is long time member of the BSD community and has done a service to the tech world by writing an updated book about pfSense (a FreeBSD based firewall). The book provides comprehensive information on all of the features of pfSense, including IPv6, rate limiting, setting up a captive portal, setting up multiple types of VPNs (IPSEC and OpenVPN), and more. if you want the complete documentation for pfSense in printed book form then order this book.

it helps for the absolute beginer
for the most part this is a not worth the money it is just to basic that you can get from an YouTube video. you will get more bang for you buck if you just read the official PDF and watch YouTube videos on it.

pfSense ESSENTIALS is a most appropriate title
If you are using pfSense this truly is a must have book. The information ranges from novice to expert. I used this book to help secure my home network. What I appreciated the most was the clear explanation form the many options available with pfSense.

Adds no value beyond the freely available pFsense book
The author does little more than simply enumerate what's on each setup/config page on the Web UI and gives (very) brief descriptions of each, rarely adding any guidance. All of this is available for free in the pFsense book (obtainable from their site). This book is completely irrelevant as far as I can tell.
