great value and a side by side comparison to the originals looked identical. they have the rubber gasket for sealing all along the edges. I did have a problem getting one side of the HEPA filter to click into place. couldn't figure out the problem. I checked the carbon filters and made sure they had snapped into place securely. so, finally I just removed the problem HEPA (everything on it looked perfect) from the grill and snapped it onto the machine first. that enabled both sides to snap in perfectly. then I attached the grill which snapped onto the filter perfectly too. Resetting both HEPA and carbon filters in that order, worked just fine (just remember to keep those remote buttons held down until the counter finishes and you see a check mark). this even comes with a brush that is perfect for cleaning the grill.

If you are having trouble getting the hepa to click into place you don’t have the carbon filter seated properly. When installing the carbon filter hook one side in first and then slightly flex the carbon filter open so the hooks can slip in and grab the slots. If you keep pressing the carbon filter straight on repeatedly you will bend the hooks in making each successive attempt even more difficult. Flex it open a little. They will hook right in and then your hepa filter will snap right into place with ease. I have also read that people say their dyson won’t recognize the carbon filter. When you go into the setting to reset your filters you have to reset them separately. The first reset I’d do the hepa. Scroll down after resetting the hepa and reset the carbon. This product is a fantastic value. Others with short life spans may have the filter installed incorrectly of the air is just not as clean at this time of year. I have noticed no difference in the dyson filter vs. these filters.

Just like the original except 1 thing. I bought this product based on price and reviews. I also didn't want to spend 80 bucks on the original so I gave this a shot. Looks and feels just like the original except it doesn't go on as easy. You really have to make sure the inside filter is pushed all the way in. While attaching the outer filter to the housing you need to connect them together slowly. Putting them in quickly will lead to the inner filter popping out causing the whole not to snap in properly. Once I figured this out everything snapped in as it should. No issues resetting the filter life. Continues to monitor air well. Would recommend. 4 stars due to difficulty putting it all together .

I bought this filter thinking I would save some money over the Dyson filter but I was so wrong. Initial purchase, I did save money because it was cheaper then the Dyson filter but after two months, this filter is so clogged the machine has no airflow at all. Now keep in mind, the original Dyson filter that came with my TP04 air purifier lasted seven months before the MACHINE told me it was time to change it. But with this filter, I noticed the other day that the machine was much louder than normal and when I went to check it out, I noticed that there was virtually NO airflow also. As soon as I cracked the filter halves apart, the machine immediately got quieter and airflow returned. So I figured I would blow the filters out with some shop air (100psi), got some dust out of them but not what I would expect to see. I put them back in my air purifier and same thing, loud as hell and no air flow, crack the filter and it's fine. I would have to buy four filters to cover the same time period one Dyson filter did. AND, the Amazon Dyson store (as they call it) sells the Dyson filter for $118 but you can get it from the Dyson website for $80. So the savings is $160 a year for two Dyson filters vs. $240 a year for six of these filters plus less strain on you air purifier when the filter is reaching the end of it's life. Do yourself a favor and get the Dyson filter from Dyson's website.

Do not waste your money on this, I bought this aftermarket product when Dyson Australia ran out of stock months ago and hasn't replenished and I was desperate to replace my long overdue filter. Since installing the only air quality reading I have been able to get is 'Severe' and no amount of running will reduce it to any lower range. The air quality in my room is fine, it was fine before I changed the filter and it's fine now, the filter is garbage. I did notice when I swapped out the original that this aftermarket product doesn't have an additional mesh later for the outer filter that the Dyson filter does, not sure if this is what's causing the problem but in any case it's useless.
