The coffee tasted and smelled like burnt plastic for over one month. The upper bunch broke. It won't bunch thru a Kcup buttom.

This is a lightweight and compact coffee maker. It came quickly and was packaged very well. I bought this one for my friend as he is living alone and this is one of the best gift for him. Its affordable and makes good coffee for a single person. It is simple to use and works nicely. Cleaning is easy and the black color is perfect for me. I love that it is compatible to his k-cups. He loves to make Starbucks drinks from his home whenever I visit him. One feature he said he like is that he empty the reservoir each time he brew. The coffee grounds insert comes with the appliance as does the K-cup insert. So, he can not say enough good things about this produce. This product will last a long time and easy to clean.

Product size is great as it is small and easy to store / doesn’t take up too much counter space. However I read some of the reviews that had said it gave a plasticy taste .. however bought the product anyway. I have also come to find that the machine gives a strong plastic taste even after MANY uses. Price is cheap but quality is lacking.

Product was great for about 6 weeks. Then the coffee pods started to explode while brewing, leaving coffee grinds all their the machine and in my coffee. After about the third time this happened we decided there was nothing we could do and I popped the lid open and the entire part that was connected to the top came off. And of course it was outside my 30 day return window so i cannot return it.

I like the size and it works very well. There is this heavy smell of plastic that even makes the liquid smell too. My brother told me to just keep putting water through it. I actually descaled it with vinegar since I like the machine and now probably wont return it. If my brother had not advised me, I probably would have sent it back.

The machine is cute, compact, and arrived quickly and in excellent shape. The only reason I rated it a bit low is because of the odor/ taste. Although a few had mentioned the plastic odor/ taste that this machine had, I ordered it anyway. I have run clear water through several times; it is still rather plastic-y. I plan to try a bit of white vinegar next. I am hoping for the best.

I chose this coffee maker because it can use the K-cups for coffee or ground roast coffee with 6 to 14 oz. I tried to boil hot water only for hot tea and it works great. Very smart design and easy to clean. I know the K-cups is very convenient these days but I still miss the roast coffee taste. So this is a really good choice and I highly recommend it!

I assumed the strong plastic smell would eventually go away but after a month of use, it hasn't. I've run vinegar water thru it many times also and it hasn't helped. My husband is fine with it but I have a very strong sense of smell. Otherwise works great, but I'd go with a different brand if it wasn't too late.
