So much fun!
These are incredible! My PreK students LOVE them. They are easier to snap together than the traditional Knex. The kids would come to me for help snapping the traditional Knex together, but they haven’t needed help at all with this version. The pieces are also bigger so they have proven to be more durable. These Knex made them so happy and excited to create that I bought three more sets. Can you tell how much I love these? These are a must buy.

Great toy for children
Colorful, easy to assemble building toy. Both Granddaughters age 2 and 5 love it and are constantly building with it. Wonderful toy. Bought a third K"NEX building set for a 3 year old granddaughter who also loves it.

Sparks creativity,
K'nex kids are a favorite with my children. The pieces spark imaginative building and they are very durable. Easier to take apart and rebuild for younger kids than the original version.

Great set for 3-6 year olds!
My 4 year old loves these, he can easily build things on his own. This kit is great, the example book has lots of fun ideas and he loves the eyes and wheels. I would say the best age range for these is 3-6

Great for my 4-year old
Easy to follow instructions for my little guy to do on his own. Also plenty of pieces to build from his imagination!

Disappointed. Nice concept, but not quite there...
This isn't a bad toy, but I don't think it's quite ready for prime time. It has too few parts for the money. The parts can be put together different ways, but not in a lot of interesting ways. It lacks the ability to build LOTS of different, non-trivial things that are intuitive to a toddler. It never really caught the interest of the three year old I bought it for. On the plus side, the materials the parts were made of seemed high quality, bendable plastic struts, etc. It might just have been our particular experience--yours might be very different. But, as for me, if I were to rate this on a scale where pre-school Legos were a 10 (in terms of enough parts, flexibility, something easy and intuitive for a toddler, etc.), I would rate these maybe a 6. Meh...
