Although it does contain a large amount of good basic information, (if you are new to fire alarm design) you will spend a great deal of time muddling through their broken English trying to understand what they are communicating. The authors, (Jolie Group Engineering) are based in Europe and the Middle East. Clearly, they know fire alarm devices and design, but English is their second or third language. Every single page is filled with fragmented sentences, broken grammar and/or poor technical sentence structure. As engineers and system designers, it is very important for us to have clear, precise information to design a system and present that information to the local fire authorities. This book isn’t clear nor precise. A good English speaking technical writer could do wonders to clear it up.
