Designing Patterns - A Fresh Approach to Pattern Cutting New Edition

I've had this book for years, since it first came out actually and recommend it for those beginning to pattern make or need some ideas to build some confidence in manipulating ready made patterns to get the desired design changes. It's fairly basic but has great drawings, good (sound) written text and is easy to follow. I've used this book in the classreoom, reccomended it as a "must have" text to compliment other text books and have not had a soul come back and tell me it was a waste of time, money or effort. It's aimed at the beginner to returning intermediate pattern maker, it's simple in it's delivery and definately has enough information between it's cover to justify it's price.
