What does scan do? Can't see in description

Scan is a button that can change the countdown time you set.

What is the standby power consumption of the unit when it’s plugged in.

I am not an electrician! My guess is pretty small. You have to manually switch it on to choose the length of time "0N" option you want. There is no delay until the "ON" time you have selected starts, it is instant. The switch then turns off. The "repeat" function in effect means that if you choose say 30 mins of "ON" time, the switch can remember that selection for the next time you go to press the power button. I hope that helps!

If I use this for 1 hour till off, then press on will it automatically go to 1 hour agai or do I have to select it every time? Thanks.

No , you need to also press the “toggle” button to go back to the last timer you set. So ie… you set for an hour, it runs till it’s done to set it again press on/off button then the toggle button and it should start again for one hour. 👍

Easy to use, great tool.

Very easy to use. We used to leave HiFi turned on after we stopped listening to music - maybe for a day or more, big waste of electricity. Now press the on button, dial up maybe 2 or 4 hours, relax and enjoy the tunes.
