USED MACHINE, LYING SELLER!!!!
I love the machine, but one thing I didn't like was the seller. It said new, but I moved the machine 2 weeks ago to another room. Found that someone stuck a screw driver at the bottom plastic to straighten some panel type deal.

Good Elliptical for the Money
This is my 3rd Proform Elliptical. Ive had this since July and it is the most stable Proform Ive had. It is worth the price I paid.I use this almost daily, at least 5 times weekly. However now I am hearing some squeaks. Im sure some lube will make it good. This is also the first proform Ive purchased the warranty. from my last two units only lasting 2-3 years, I want to be protected on this one.I would recommend this but buy a warranty for sure.

Wobbly by design
First off, I would like to say that this review is not about a Amazon. My experience with Amazon was great. When I wanted to return the item, they did so without objection and even sent a company to pick it up at their expense. Thats all I can ask from a retailer. The ProForm 935E looked like a great a buy and I read many positive reviews about this unit. Unfortunately, most of those reviews are outdated based on my experience. I received this item about a month after ordering. It arrived mostly assembled and only required about 30 mins to set it up and move it to its location in the room. From the very first day, the unit was wobbly. The wobble occurs at the T junction where the main stand sits on top of the front support base. The base itself was not moving, just the entire front stand. I used a level to ensure the base was level to the ground. I ended up buying a large 3/4 inch sheet of plywood and an exercise mat to place underneath the unit to ensure it was sitting on a level surface. Nothing fixed the wobble. The base of the machine had no wobble. I tested this several times by standing on the base with my 245 lb frame trying to make it rock. The base barely moved. The main stand, however, will easily wobble with just the press of finger. By repeatedly pressing the stand (lightly), it would stay in motion for a few seconds like a ball swinging on a string. Clearly, this issue with my unit was poor support of the main stand at the T junction.I called ProForm who acknowledged that this was a new design for 2015. He said., he was not that familiar with the unit but sent me a new bolt. He also sent out a local technician to examine and fix the machine. The local technician verified my issue and said that the unit should not move that way. He also mentioned that this model design was new for 2015 and that he would have to get his boss out to take a look at the unit. While he was there, I pointed out to him that the unit had started to make a loud squeaking sound in the back. He said, the bearings would need to be replaced and the the damage was likely caused by the wobbling of the machine. He said they could fix the bearings but was uncertain about the wobbling. He told me to not use the machine until it was fixed completely. This all happened in under a month of owning the machine. Since the local tech was not sure he could even fix the wobbling and mentioned that replacing the bearings is a major repair, he suggested I try to return the unit. That was enough evidence for me to call Amazon for a return. Gladly, Amazon was very helpful.I was really looking forward to this machine and I thought the features and price were a great value. I am still in the market for an exercise machine but I will not be ordering another one of these or anything else from ProForm.

This is a great machine!
This is a superb elliptical. I wore my last ProForm elliptical out. It took 10+ years, and I don't even know how many thousands of miles I put on it. I initially tried a different manufacturer, but sent it back. It absolutely sucked. I then got this one and have used it everyday for a few months now. It is extremely well made and has everything you could ever use on it. It is super quiet too. If there is one thing I'd change it would be it's dedication to iFit only content. They are very proud of themselves. I don't know who their competitors are, but seems like if there were more options, the monthly cost would come down. Luckily, I can share my subscription with my wife. Otherwise, I would only be using the built-in workouts. I'm not going to hold that against ProForm though for this review. It really is a top notch piece of equipment. Definitely worth the money.Update 4 years later -- I'm no longer as happy. About a year and a half ago it quit showing the street view because they won't update the OS to support the new Google API. Some days I have to power cycle it three or four times to get it to run without crashing. I hate that I am now looking for a new elliptical. Turns out it's no where near as dependable as it's predecessor. My how the mighty have fallen.

It was super heavy but very easy to assemble
Ok i'm going to tell you about my elliptical machine. It was super heavy but very easy to assemble. it has a readout that connects to the internet so you can play youtube or post your exercise results onto your facebook account. it is very sturdy and my wife and i absolutely love it. it was difficult to pick the machine we want because the reviews on here have been terrible. We are satisfied with it and the price was great as well. the company who shipped it were very cool as well and worked with me because we ordered this in the middle of a move a few streets away. i recommend this to everyone who wants to work out without a lot of hassle. i am not looking forward to moving this in a few years when we inevitably move again.

Read this before purchasing this machine
We purchased this machine 3 months ago. The incline has not worked properly for more than 5 workouts in a row. The unfortunate part about the incline working is that all of the interesting workouts that can be downloaded utilize the incline.I have been on the phone with tech support many hours since our purchase in June and have removed every screw in the machine at this point. Some of the parts have been disassembled so many times that I've had to purchase new screws because the originals have stripped out.The horrible warranty ProForm offers require that I do the repair work. If I want a technician to do it, I have to haul this 235 pound machine to the technician which is hours away. The replacement parts that the inept technical service people send me take 10 days to arrive and they tell me they can't send anything overnight. We paid $1000 for this machine and knew we weren't getting a commercial grade machine, but we expected it to last more than a couple of weeks.Again, the incline is broken and we are using the machine with it disabled. Thankfully it isn't winter yet and my wife and I can do our workouts outdoors. When winter comes, I'll have much more time to yell at Proform for their poorly designed product, inept technicians and slow part replacement service.
