Dr Beckmann Colour Run Remover (2 x 75g)

After inadvertently turning a bunch of clothes pink after a new duvet bled colour on its first wash, I got some of this to try and get rid of the bleed.I tried it following the instructions for the machine wash first and that had no effect at all.I then tried soaking the clothes and almost immediately they were visibly loosing the pink colour. I left them for the recommended 4 hours minimum and almost all of the items had lost the pink colour they had picked up.Fantastic stuff.

Sadly this product did not work at all for us and was very disappointing. I had foolishly managed to wash a large white bathroom mat with a green napkin and the mat came out with a very pale (blotchy) green tint. Taking advice from their helpline, I bought two packs of Dr Beckmann Colour Run Remover, in case one didn’t do the trick. The first dose didn’t help at all so I used the second pack in a further attempt which was equally unsuccessful. Altogether a bad experience, as well as a waste of time and money. I cannot recommend this product.

Have used this for years but it doesn’t seem as potent as it used to be therefore and therefore not quite as effective but it’s still fairly good at restoring the whiteness

Did not work as well as expected. Expensive to buy Product requires a lot of energy with a 90 degree and the wash cycle it took a long time to complete. Result was disappointing, only removed some of the dye.

Did the job

I was absolutely desperate when I bought this. Some black clothes had been washed with these three t-shirts. They belongs to my son and each rather expensive 🤦🏽‍♀️. It would have cost me about £200 to replace them and a very unhappy moody son. Anyway I tried this, it said to fully submerge them for four hours. Initially I put them in the bath but they absorbed most of the 6L of water leaving them not submerged. I ended up putting a washing up bowl in the bath and leaving all three submerged in it over night. It was a risk because the red in the North Face could have been damaged (it said on the pack) but it was a risk I had to take, they were ruined at this stage anyway. I was shocked to find them fully restored to their original white colour the next morning!! It is unbelievable! Fantastic product, I will definitely be buying some to keep in the cupboard incase this happens again. Thank you Dr.Beckmann 😀Wish I had taken before pictures for you. They really were an icky grey colour before.

it's hit or miss with Dr Beckmann Colour Run Remover as it all depends on what temperature of the wash was as the hotter temperatures Dr Beckmann Colour Run Remover just fails. I believe in very low temperatures it works perfectly.

Accidentally put my sons new white polo shirt in with a load of colours . The shirt came out full of dark patches . Was going to bin it but it was expensive so thought i would give this ago as I had nothing to lose . Washed it on a 40 degree wash popped in a few more whites along with stained shirt and a couple of colour catcher sheets .Stained shirt came out good as new and other items came out bright white aswell..Seen all the bad reviews before purchasing this but recommend giving it a shot. It really does work.
