API GOLDFISH PELLETS Fish Food 7-Ounce Container

My fish love this food!! I feed it to the koi in my pond and they look forward to seeing this canister in my hand. They swim up close as soon as they notice I have it, so it's their favorite food. Good quality.

Great for my koi and my goldfish. I would like it there were a bigger pellet option.

I have 6 fancy goldfish in a 125 gallon tank. They love this food, they gobble it up before it hits the bottom. They are doing great on it health wise. I haven't had any negative water issues however, I feed my fish a certain way that may be making a difference. Instead of throwing a handful in all at once, I drop in about 6 pellets (one for each fish) so they eat it before it hits bottom. Then I drop 6 more and so on. I stop after a bit, I can tell when they are getting full (about 5 pellets each.) This way I don't have left over food issues AND I can be sure all fish are getting enough, one of my fancy goldfish is huge and I like to make sure the smaller ones are getting their share. Overall this food has great ingredients, sinks which is the only kind of food any goldfish should eat because of swim bladder issues, and hasn't changed my water quality.

I tried using this food a month ago when I was fish in-cycling tank - and a horrible smell occurred that required us to air out the room. I switched food and changed some things. I now have a healthy cycled tank, and I thought I'd try the food again. Within 30 minutes of feeding with API Goldfish food (I do not overfeed), the tank smelled awful again and stinking up the room. Very disappointed with this product. I will stick with Xtreme Aquatic Foods Community PeeWee from now on.

Needed to isolate one goldfish in a separate container inside a larger one. The floating pellets he was used to would float out of his container into the larger tub. Switched his diet up to these sinking pellets and all is well. He looked a lot better within days of the change.

prima di recensire ho voluto testare l'appetibilità per i miei oranda. E davvero molto gradito e non sporca l'acqua, non ho riscontrato problemi di infiammazioni alla vescica natatoria. Risulta un mangime molto leggero ma ben bilanciato.

My fish loves these. I accidentally bought floating pellets recently and he wouldn't eat them! He's a Black Moor, 5 yrs old and obviously thriving.

Exactly as described. Sinks quickly. Better than flakes.
