Great knife, high quality, very sharp - absolutely recommend!!
Excellent quality for this price point! It isn't too heavy and weighs about what you'd expect one to weigh. The grip os very comfortable. It is very easy to open, although it can be a bit hard to close (the locking mechanism is great!). It is very sharp and maintains its sharpness for quite a while. Design did not fade or anything, even after being exposed to sun, rain, snow, and dirt. I just bought my third knife because I keep forgetting to take it out of my backpack before I fly, so TSA generally takes it - it has passed through TSA with no issue a couple of times, though. I always come back to reorder this knife because of how much I love it! Absolutely recommend!

Sharp looking yet very durable knife at a great price
This is a well made and sturdy knife. Lightning fast opening! Feels good in your hand. The finish is stylish yet this knife will get the job done every time. Great knife at a great price. Way to go M-Tech!

Best knife I had in a long time.
I LOVE THESE KNIVES!! I got 2 and wear them in my bra under each arm. I highly recommend them for 2 reasons-They are bigger than average so that makes the grip easier and safer and the switch to open them is flawless. I've carried knives since I was 16 and I am 62 and was compelled to get these the minute I saw them and am so glad I did. Not a paid person y'all. I just really love them. I highly recommend everyone carry at least one on your body and one inside your vehicle and one to clip on your beds headboard above your head. Watch a few YouTube videos to practice 3 or 4 good moves and you will feel much safer. These would make a great Valentine's Day and Father's Day gift too. Men always need a knife in their vehicles too.

BIGGER than it looks!
Good knife, with a well-made feel. Shipped new-in-box with plenty of packing grease (wipe it down before you put it in your pocket). Speaking of pockets, this knife is LARGE. Yes, it does say 5" in the description, but don't forget to look for a width dimension, it's easily over 2" wide at the hilt and the blade is much broader than the picture suggests. It will probably end up in the glove box. Open assist spring is plenty strong for this big blade though, in fact it takes intentional effort to close it. The blade is well sharpened, we'll see how long that lasts and how well it take a new edge from various sharpeners. I have a smaller MTech that does pretty good, with a good sharpener. The seat belt cutter is heavy, sharp, and seems like it will stay in place for the duration. The only thing that is a bit worrying is the glass breaker. I can't tell if it's welded, molded, riveted, or screwed on, so I'll have to put the knife through it's paces to be sure it's going to stay in it's place. Overall, for the price it appears to be a good knife. As with all things, only time will tell.

A little bigger than it is in the picture. But it worth it. Worth the money
There is nothing to dislike about this item. I like this item (MTech USA MT-A845BK SPRING ASSISTED KNIFE, 5" Closed, Black Blade cause it has a (SEATBELT CUTTER,GLASS BREAKER,COMFORTABLE HANDGRIP ON IT AND IT HAS A SHARP BLADE). I got this a couple days ago and I love this knife. It is my every day EDC pocket knife now. I always have it in my pocket with me everywhere I go,with the exception of (baseball stadiums, sporting events and theme park) cause pocket knives aren't allowed in those 3 places that I put. But either than those 3 places where it isnt allowed. This (MTech USA MT-A845BK SPRING ASSISTED KNIFE, 5" Closed, Black Blade) is my everyday carry EDC pocket knife cause I take it everywhere I go,I keep it in my pocket,it fits in my pocket and feels comfortable when you walk and keep it in your pocket. Worth the money and worth buying for you or your better half (BF/GF,FIANCE OR HUSBAND/WIFE). Worth the money and great pocket knife 100% in my book

Excellent Budget EDC Knife!!!
So I've been around knives a lot, and spent hours and hours searching for the best budget EDC knife I could find that 1 looks good, 2 has an seat belt cutter 3 has a glass window breaker, 4 feels good in the hand, 5 is decent size but not too big, 6 around $10. MTech really delivered with this one they fit all of the above and I am beyond impressed with the quality l. Just sharpen your knife every month or so and it's perfect for 99%of everyday needs. I keep this with my EDC bag in case I ever need it. Decent self defense knife too if that's what you're looking for the grip is great, but I have a 9mm for that this is just for emergencies like car crashes or whatever etc. Definitely recommend for the price and value. Side note, they also do a decent budget neck knife as well that I also recommend.

Great Knife
What a great knife, which I ended up buying another one just to have. Very durable and doesn't feel cheap like some others.

Solid, sharp, and reliable
This knife really impressed me from the moment I opened it. The all-black blade and handle give it a sleek, tactical look that feels much more expensive than the actual price. The color is clean and uniform, and it hasn’t shown scuffs or scratches even with regular use. The spring-assisted mechanism makes this knife incredibly easy to open with just one hand. It snaps open quickly and locks securely into place, giving you confidence that it won’t fold back unexpectedly. Closing it is just as smooth, and nothing about it feels stiff or awkward. Whether you’re new to knives or an experienced carrier, the assisted opening really sets this one apart. The textured handle has an ergonomic design that sits naturally in your hand. The grip feels firm without being uncomfortable, even during longer use. I like that the handle shape provides a secure hold without digging into your palm, and it doesn’t slip when your hands are sweaty. Comfort and safety-wise, it’s well-designed. For everyday carry, this knife is great. It’s sharp right out of the box and cuts cleanly through boxes, rope, packaging, or light outdoor tasks without dulling quickly. The pocket clip makes it easy to keep on hand, and the blade shape is versatile enough for both practical daily use and The overall build quality is surprisingly solid. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all with no rattling parts, no loose screws, and the lockup is strong. The weight is well-balanced, not overly heavy but substantial enough to feel dependable. The black coating on the blade has held up well, showing minimal wear despite frequent use. For under $30, this knife delivers way more than expected. Between the sleek color, reliable assisted opening, comfortable grip, and strong utility, it makes for an excellent everyday carry option. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly knife that doesn’t sacrifice quality or style, this one is worth grabbing.
