K&N Air Filter Cleaning Kit: Aerosol Filter Cleaner and Oil Kit; Restores Engine Air Filter Performance; Service Kit-99-5000, Multi

This K&N 99-5000 recharge kit is perfect for my reusable air filter. I often drive on dusty country roads, so my filter clogs up quickly. The aerosol cleaner lifts trapped dirt, and the included spray-on filter oil coats the filter evenly once dry. The whole cleaning routine is easy to finish in my garage over the weekend. After treatment, airflow returns to normal, and my engine runs smoother. It saves the ongoing cost of disposable paper filters. Straightforward for casual DIY car owners. A must-have companion if you have a K&N washable air filter.

K&N Filters last a long time but must be cleaned The kit cleans very well It’s easy to use It feels important to use the kit I like maintaining the cars

Works great, simple to use

Maintains my K&N air filters.

Mostly grabbed this K&N cleaning kit because I do weekend drives to trailheads in my old Tacoma and wanted to keep the reusable filter going instead of buying new ones. Used it after a dusty fire road run out to a trail in the Cascades. The cleaner spray works well. I soaked the filter, rinsed it out, and a lot of grime came off. Truck felt a bit smoother on the drive home. The oil part is where I got a little annoyed. The spray is easy to overdo and I had to wipe some excess so it would not look soaked. It works, just takes more patience than I expected.

Cant say snough about this company. The cleaner kit has come in clutch for my air intake system keeping it running now for over 100K miles and still going strong.

Car nerd here, grabbed this during a 1 a.m. parts binge because my K&N on the daily driver looked like it had been through a dust storm. The cleaner works well and watching the grime rinse off is weirdly satisfying. The only meh thing is the oil spray, it’s easy to overdo and then i end up wiping excess off the housing like a doofus. Still handy for stretching filter life between big garage days, reallly beats buying a new one every time.

I bought this K&N 99-5000 cleaning kit to refresh the high-flow air filter on my pickup truck after driving through dusty country roads. The aerosol cleaner sprays evenly and dissolves built-up dirt, old filter oil and road grime without damaging the cotton filter fibers. After rinsing and fully air-drying the filter, I applied the included filter oil spray, which coats the mesh uniformly to trap dust again. The whole process was straightforward and saved me from buying a brand-new replacement filter. After reinstalling, the engine’s throttle response went back to how it felt when the filter was new. This kit lets me reuse my air filter repeatedly, cutting down long-term maintenance costs. It’s a staple item in my garage toolbox, and I’m really happy with how well it restores my air filter’s performance every time.

very satisfied to this item.

Geniune Product very helpful in cleaning the filters.... Wish the price was a little cheaper...

Cleaner works well and the spray oil makes it easy to apply
