I installed this to my 2008 E90 328i.First, it requires extra Garmin App with 1.0+GB Map data. It does NOT communicate with existing navigation system.Second, a lot things are not working."Cruise Control" information is NOT displaying on my vehicle. (It should be retrieved via CAN interface.)Without GarminApp, you will not get "Lane Information", "Direction", "Speed Limit" and so on.Currently, it shows only "Speed" and "Engine Power in NM, KW".Also, this is NOT HUD. This is HUS, which means you will see the information from this device itself, not thru your windshield reflection.If you can be satisfied with Speed HUS, go and find $80 GPS based HUD with real reflection. You won't get any other information from this device by CAN.Totally disappointed.
