Get the other Revlon styler brush
I got this styler brush right when the other oval shaped Revlon one blew up. I saw the John Frieda brush got really good reviews but was sold out in the bigger barrel size, and since the other Revlon one was so good, this seemed like it would be a good option for me. I liked the barrel size but there was just not enough power behind this for a finishing tool, and the bristles just didn’t seem to really penetrate my hair. I think I could have made it work but I just as soon blow dry and smooth over with a flat iron at that rate. My mom, who has a long pixie type cut tried this brush and at first liked it but then kind of felt like it wasn’t worth the price and lacked power

Not the best.
I love combo brush dryers. That said, this isn;t the one you want. This is much quieter than my Revlon Volume Stay, but it leaves my hair frizzy and takes at least 5 minutes longer to dry. I wanted a 2" as my 1 1/2" Volume Stay makes my ends a bit too curly for my liking. The bristles are soft, but this makes them not grab the hair enough to get shiny, smooth results. I have medium/fine, long, 2B hair. If your hair is thicker/curlier, don't even bother. The first one I received did not keep full power after a minute or so, the second one functioned but still poor results. both returned.

This is a great brush. It doesn't spin
This is a great brush. It doesn't spin, although I thought it would; my fault for not reading properly. But that's not a big deal because it really does a great job. It heats up well, but not as much as a flat iron would. I run it through my hair a couple of times to dry hair first, then I wrap hair around the brush, starting at the ends, and roll the brush up, hold for a few seconds, then press the CURL release button (red button). Hair drops out beautifully and forms cute, bouncy waves. I even had people ask me which salon I visited to have my hair blown out.My hair is pretty long right now, about three inches below past my shoulders. The brush is a 2-inch brush, so I believe it's good for long hair, not sure how it might fare with shorter hair.A great brush overall, and definitely worth the money!

Best. Thing. Ever.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing!!! My hair is really thick but super fine, kind of wavy and prone to frizz! That being said, I'm a single mom of a 4 year old and have very little time to spend on my hair. Normally my hair is just swept up in a "mom" bun. This device has made my hair so easy to do! I can even let it air dry, sleep on it the night before, run this through a few times in the morning and look like I just spent 30 minutes blowing it out. The curl release is a really nice feature too, especially when trying to add height at the crown.

It's good thing it's 2 piece snap on
It's good thing it's 2 piece snap on. It's huge to pack otherwise. This works best on slightly damp hair. Too dry, hair becomes frizzy, too wet and it take FAR to long to dry. Bristles are definitely not the softest if compared to John Frieda model, but does provide nice wavy, shoulder length hair.

I love this styler!
I wish I would have found this years ago! It saves me 20-30 minutes each time I wash my hair. After towel drying my hair, I use this to style it dry. My hair is layered shoulder length, straight and fine. This helps give it lift, wave and shape, and is faster than a regular dryer and brush. It is lightwieght and easy to use. The bristles are somewhat soft for what I need, but it still works great!

This is only 500 watts (my last one was 1200) and I found the handle to be very bulky and short thus making coordination to style pretty difficult. I will be returning it
Personally I did not care for this product. I have had several similar items and use them until they no longer work so I have replaced quite a few. This is only 500 watts (my last one was 1200) and I found the handle to be very bulky and short thus making coordination to style pretty difficult. I will be returning it.

Extremely Disappointed
All the stuff in the description about how it smooths your hair because of the "ionic technology" is a bunch of hooey. I tried using this twice - once with damp hair and once with dry. It produced so much static electricity in my hair that I looked like a dandelion. I had already thrown away the box, so I'm having to keep it (actually, I'll donate it to Goodwill and hope it will work for someone else), but I am not happy at all. I have had several different hot air brushes over the year - rotating and not - and this is the worst (and also the most expensive). Unless you have very oily, coarse hair, do not buy this.

cepillo de aire
comparado con otras marcas este cepillo es económico, me agradó, cumple su función. Para aquellos con cabello grueso/mucho cabello es mejor usar la secadora antes y después usar este cepillo solo para dar forma
