Slide action is ok, but with the cream conn selmer ships with instrument is cumbersome at best and does not deliver the best performance. Horn is has nice sound and delivers good range and response. I'll just use aftermarket snot for the slide. Hope the laquer holds up. too early to tell

OUR GRANDSON (A HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR) IS VERY HAPPY WITH HIS BACH 42 TROMBONE. HE LOVES THE TONE AND QUALITY. HE SAYS" THE BACH IS LIGHTER (IN WEIGHT) THAN HIS OLD TROMBONE". HE PLANS TO TAKE HIS BACH TO COLLEGE WITH HIM.

Beautiful tonal quality. Rich sound very light and fluid slide action.

My original was purchased in 1973. Destroyed in a storm, this one is the perfect replacement. Add a 2g mouthpiece and you have a bass trombone! Not entirely but close enough. I competed one year with and the judges comments were positive.

I love this instrument! I got it as I out grew my student trombone. this is very good quality and looks just as in the picture, if not better. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to play for a few years or more so you get your moneys worth.

I love this horn!! I was pleasantly surprised that the case in the pictures is not the case that it came with. It came with a very nice leather hard case with gator skin trim.
