My check engine light came on so I went to the auto part store and had one of the employee do a diagnostic with the store scanner to see why. That scanner only pulled up 1 code which I had to go look up on google only to find out that it’s a generic OBD-II code that indicate a fault within transmission control system. After receipt of this Launch CRP Touch Pro, I updated the software that took about 30min, ran diagnostic on my vehicle and it pulled 6 specific codes about my transmission. Therefore, I am very pleased with CRP Touch Pro it works much better than I expected.

The media could not be loaded.  I am very happy to say it out preforms my snap on scanner by far. My main reason for getting this Launch scanner was because I am sick of the high cost to update snap on scanners it is absolutely sickening to pay that much for a foolish update. Once you connect this tool and select what type of vehicle it gathers all other information from the vin code. there is no need to read the vin yourself and enter in the number like you have to on other scanners. Once the scanner gathers the vin code it asks you for the chance to enter the vehicle info manually or automatically. It is very fast and easy to use. This tool updates quickly it has amazing data selections and graphs it will access everything larger scan tools can and it's light weight and simple.

Do not buy one of these scanners…special services function goes away before the promised subscription date expiration. Very limited customer support. New subscription very expensive! Only good for one year. False advertising!***UPDATE*****AFTER quite a few back-and-forth launches helping me out with the miscommunication is in the process of updating my machine. The customer service I am speaking with now is very friendly much better.. now it seems like they are doing everything they can to make it right. I’ll keep posting

After two years of great use it finally lost its ability to scan vehicles. Thought it was the cable. Turns out the scanner itself is the problem.

Update: Launch Customer service ended up standing behind this scan tool and replaced it with a working unit. Happy to say they stood behind the product and warranty and got me a new working unit shipped fairly quickly. I’d still recommend Launch scanners, great tool.Seemed like great tool when it was working. Stopped working in under 2 years, I bought this because of the warranty period. Have been back and forth trying to get it warranted because it shows 5 year no hassle warranty. Turns out it is supposedly not warranted for 5 years. Still working on fighting this because it states clearly in two places it has 5 year warranty. Will update review if seller stands behind what they are advertising.

Not too expensive, but it does not want to connect to my 2015 Nissan Versa...

The media could not be loaded.  Very happy with LAUNCH Scanner. It read my Mini Cooper Clubman S and actually cleared the codes. This is a great tool to have, to diagnosis ''check engine light'' issues. I used it on 2002 Toyota Tacoma and found the code telling what component is causing the light to stay on. It will more than pay for itself the first time you use it, easy to use and great device! Highly recommended !!!

Got this a year ago and works awesome. Had problem with first unit I received at almost a year. Was contacted by the supplier after I left a review. Supplier asked me to send old unit back and sent me a new unit right away. Received new unit in record time and new unit works great. Highly recommend this product.

This is a good value for price. Easy initial set-up and User friendly. I like that it has a touch screen interface and also navigation buttons. It has a code library built into its memory to help with code troubleshooting as well as the ability to connect to web to get additional code repair info. The ability to auto find serial numbers on equipped vehicles. It also recharges while connected to a vehicle. it scans all vehicle control modules and found trouble codes that I had that I did not know I had. Very happy with purchase.
