Digital Clamp Meter AP-570T-APP Bluetooth Clamp Multimeter 4000 Counts Auto-Ranging Multimeter with DC/AC Voltage & Current, Resistance, Temperature, Frequency, Duty Cycle

Bought this to replace a more expensive blue and black flame Bluetooth meter from the same brand. While this one is significantly larger (which seems unnecessary) it has a MUCH better app.The more expensive model requires a sketchy Chinese account that you must use two devices to see up due to a glitch. Graphing is poor (100 amp scale for a 10 amp load, and the banana jacks are so tight the lead broke off in it.This meter while larger and clunkier works much better. The software doesn’t require a login, it just works. Interface is cleaner and it will adjust the range of the graph based on your load (so you can see small variations on a 10 amp load).For the money the meter is a excellent value. I just wish it wasn’t so big. It comes in a zipper pouch, but doesn’t fit in my tool box.Bluetooth option is a huge plus. It can be used for automotive testing (graphing battery voltage, checking amperage pulled by an amp, etc). It also comes in handy for building electrical work. I mostly use the clamp for AC, but do use the leads if I am trying to find the breaker for something.This is all using the iOS (iPhone) app. It may not apply to android users.

I paid about $40 for this & I’d definitely recommend it to anybody needing an inexpensive AC/DC clamp meter.I tested the temperature probe to 0°C and it was accurate within ~1 degree on its own but it gives the ability to “zero it” essentially if need be.Works fairly well, easy to use, easy to read, well built & offers bluetooth functionality, a nice touch at this price point.Comes in a nice carrying case with decent quality leads for voltage/frequency/resistance, etc.Definitely recommend for the price.

For those wanting an meter with remote reading capability, this perfect. While the range function is limited, otherwise it seems as accurate as my far more expensive Fluke. The clamp fits over almost all the wires found within range of anything that should be measured safe so the average user should not have any problem whatsoever. The Bluetooth pairing is automatic and the logging function is really a plus to detect random or intermittent faults. It feels very sturdy and for the price, I don't think it can be beat.

NO accuracy! It’s trash.I bought this because I needed a clamp type ammeter for tracing down electrical problems in cars. I liked that the display was big and lit up. I liked the price and the list of features they advertised.In every attempt to use the clamp, it has proven to give false readings all over the place. In the attached picture it showed 2.3 Amps as it sits there completely unconnected. It’s like a random number generator. It’s useless. I regret buying it but it’s too late to return it. Save your money. Avoid this one!

This multimeter has more functionality than my old Fluke and it's much cheaper. I like this one because I can measure PWM signals and high currents also. The best feature is that I can connect to my phone and initiate tests from another room and get my readings remotely - this is a huge time saver. I honestly wasn't expecting the app to work so well. It automatically connects as soon as I turn on the meter. It even gives the series of time-stamped readings in tabular and graphical format. I am very happy with this.

Pro:The data format in the App is user-friendly and contains the pertinent data, e.g., the data contains the sample sequence numbering, the resistance value, unit in KOhms and timestamp (TS) for each sequence number. It also shows the Max/Avg/Min values and TS of Max/Min values.Con:This is why I will return this product: On more than one occasion, the data log disappears after a number of samples are taken, rendering this product unreliable and useless for the purpose I bought it. This should not happen.It appears as though there is a limit on the number of samples that can be logged. When that limit is reached, logging of the data should freeze/stop and not disappear.Apparently, the data is being stored in either the App or meter, while the data should be stored in the mobile phone's memory. I was able to see over 29k+ samples with no problem during one monitoring session.Another reason why I will return is because the Bluetooth link between my Android smart phone and your multimeter is not reliable - it sometimes takes several attempts to connect; when it does connect, it discoonects; when I move the phone less than 50 ft, connection is lost. Need a better Bluetooth xceiver.

I could get a reading from the engine compartment while driving, and record the whole thing on my iPhone! man, I should have had this ages ago! It is easy to read and has the same accuracy as my older one. The hook makes it somewhat large, but exactly works as advertised.

Was skeptical from other reviews stating that the DC clamp-on wouldn't read any amps, but I had no trouble reading down to 1 amp DC and up to 10 amps with the bench equipment I had on hand. Temp probe seemed to work too but I didn't try it in sea-level boiling water to confirm accuracy. Love the back light and size of digits. Wish the thumb wheel had a raised grip to rotate it with thumb and index, but that's a nit pick. The QR code for app wasn't the right app in the Play store, but a manual search found it. I had no trouble pairing the phone and the app is great whenever I would want to remotely monitor a node or leg in a circuit. I'm demoting my Craftsman AC-only clamp-on for this as my new go-to.
