David Pal ALERT Light Therapy Sound Machine

I highly recommend it for any brain disturbance. I used it because I felt I had so many emotional issues, impatience, anger, mood swings, depression, just feeling different from others. I figured it didnt matter whether I was ADD, ADHD or autistic I felt I had problems with my brain and this was used to fix brain wave problems. I also had a truck load of stress in my life that was and is none stop this has gotten me through so much with out any problem. It difficult to describe how much I love this thing I wear it almost everynight to bed so it doesnt take up time for me and it works while I sleep. Its worth every cent I paid for it. I am calmer, no anger issues, handle extreme stress incredible well, depression gone, balanced moods. wear it regularly to get the best effects.

Ineffective

I've suspected I had some form of ADD for many years and have tried other light and sound machines, but they all left me too stressed. Once I started using the Alert though, I immediately notice the complex light patterns and after the session it left me feeling balanced and relaxed. No stress. I think the unique independent stimulation feature of the Omniscreen glasses get the credit for this. Frankly, most light and sound machines use unshielded LED's, which makes them too bright and gives the user a harsh stimulation session.I've only been using the device for about a week and my cognitive abilities are starting increase and I feel more and more relaxed each day. I also notice my caffeine usage plummeting and my sleep improving. Also starting to no longer feel overwhelmed with life. Daily use for about 6-8 weeks is what's recommended before all the changes with your prefrontal cortex take hold. So far I'm more than pleased.

I have been using my machine for three years and am very satisfied with it. The real advantage is the way its sessions are put together. Each set of sessions is designed to address specific sets of problems. You look up in the manual which set matches what problems you are having (mine are usually needing more focus), select any session from the set, and within a week or two I usually see substantial progress. Another advantage is that it is the about the only company that uses different signals to each eye, allowing the programs to stimulate, for example, the right side of your brain while relaxing the left. This is very powerful!
