What is the total height and width of the switch for okin oval 2 button 5 pin switch , i'm looking for one that is 3 inches (75mm)

The okin switch we bought is 3 1/2 in high by 3 in wide, we’ve had it for a while now and never had a problem with it. Hope this helps

Hello, would this work on a hsl reclyiner 8 pin remote? i’m trying to reduce the amount of buttons my friend of 95 needs to press.

Hi, this switch is great, easy to operate and has not let me down. I have fitted it in to my sofa to extend the base in and out. It was totally different to the original switch but the jack plug/ pins were the same. I plugged in the switch first to test it before fitting it to a new location. For you chair I am not sure, my advice would be to ensure the plug / pins match up. Plug it in before fully fitting to see if it works, if not you can simy return the item. Hope this helps.

My sofa has a “fixed” two button control but I want a remote that is wired and eliminates the need to reach far to recline. Can this be a solution ?

It would be no different than unscrewing the one already there and leaving it dangling on the wire (which I wouldn’t recommend).

Can you use the existing cable to avoid having to feed the new one through?

You can’t use original cable as it’s factory fitted if your worried about how to cable thro use a small screw driver remove screws and gently pull switch forward tip your chair up where cable connects release it from the socket tie a bit of string onto cable pull switch out and string will pull thro then tie new cable with the string and pull from underneath and when you’ve got cable take string off plug it back into socket and screw switch back onto chair 👍👍 job done hope this helps
