I just got the palm today. OMG. It was heavy, sturdy, very beautiful. I refuse to water any more plants in my life. I am done!!!!. I only want to take care of myself. This palm is perfect for my new life style. One will go by my front door, outside but not much sun. The second one, will go in my backyard, full sun, lets see how that one holds up. I will let you all know in 5 months.

For starters, I had 2 real palm plants that were constantly making me Google what the heck was wrong with them - am I watering them too much, too little? Why were leaves yellowing and why this and why that. Then I decided on just getting fake versions that would permanently look like healthy plants AND with zero upkeep (NO MORE WATERING, etc.). After doing tons of research on Amazon and reading all the horrible reviews and positive ones (the photos did help me decide and why I included my own), I purchased these. Both plants were nicely packed together so both arrived in excellent condition. Once I removed the plants and unwrapped them, I ditched the old plants and replaced their white planters/pots with these 2 new ones. I was beyond thrilled with their height (much taller than my ditched ones) and loved how heavy the small base is (if you're putting them outdoors, I suggest you fill the pot plant with rocks or dirt to keep plant from falling over due to a wind gust - common sense, folks!). Once I started shaping the leaves/branches, my head was blown. The plants not only looked gorgeous but realistic (see photos for yourselves). Once I placed them in their intended spots, I shaped the leaves even more and couldn't believe how real and incredible they look. A 200% improvement over the original real plants I had and which were a constant struggle trying to keep them looking healthy. Knowing I don't have to water these is such a relief. Fully recommend these on every possible level.

I absolutely love these Fopamtri Artificial Areca Palm Plants! They look incredibly realistic, adding a nice tropical touch to any room or outdoor space. When you first take them out of the box, you’ll need to stretch out the leaves to give them that natural look. One thing to note is that the base is a bit small, so it tends to tip over easily. I recommend placing it in a larger, more stable pot for better support. Overall, these are beautiful, well-made plants that I would highly recommend if you want the look of real palms without the maintenance!

Easy to put together and well packaged. Once set up, they look great and work well for my space. Brings a nice splash of green. I am very happy with the purchase.

Love these artificial palms. They work so well on our lanai year around. Our first set lasted 5 years in Florida sun and humidity. My only issue was that the box was carved in half all the way around when delivered and part of a palm was sticking out. What happened between the warehouse and our home? We are going to live with what was delivered because the box to return was so damaged.

Nice height. Really full. Looks like a real tree and dresses up my front porch area.

I don’t have a green thumb so I decided to go with artificial greenery. It was important to find UV resistant plants since they would be outside. Got these on a Spring Prime Sale. They were bigger than I thought. You do have to bend the leaves and stems to give it more of a natural shape but that’s easy enough to do. The pot at the base is small, so you will have to put into a larger container. I recommend using rocks to ensure the base is sturdy enough as to not fall or blow over. So far, I’m happy with this purchase. Time will tell on how well it holds up against the rays of the sun.

The pot on the bottom is decently weighted. The problem is the proportions. The pot needs to be about 4-5” higher to prevent it from falling over. It’s top heavy and the slightest breeze knocks it over, even in this deep planter (shelf in planter sits about 8” from the top edge)

I read so many reviews about these types of faux palms. Some reviewers hated them. Some LOVED them. Very conflicting. There are many brands too so it gets confusing . I looked for several months and finally decided on these 5 ft twin pack palms. I bought 28" Veradek black pots for them too. They have a hidden shelf in the pot so you can make your plants look even taller than they are! Look into them. You'll like them! I opened my palm plant box discreetly so my husband wouldn't get the chance to freak out and say "no fake plants in this house!" But we have a very active stubborn kitten who has been systematically killing all our REAL palms and all other plants so I thought I had to try this. I wanted to see green in the winter months in our "sunroom". The palms are fantastic. They were packed very carefully and having worked in the display/design world for decades I knew to carefully shape the leaves ( they have thin metal in each one and on the main leaf too) so you can get a natural shape with a bit of work. I spent 15 minutes on each one. They are two-toned as well so it looks pretty realistic. Many people's photos of faux plants, if they are complaining about how they look "so fake" or "don't look anything like the photos" , I think these people are taking them out of the tightly sealed delivery box and standing them up without any attempt to fluff them out. You HAVE to take time doing this. You can't expect life-like palms to magically come out of a tightly wrapped box! Anyway my cat was going crazy. She totally believed they were real and this time I didn't care if she climbed them or chewed as she wasn't going to poison herself or ruin my plants!!! They look awesome in those planters too. Husband had nothing bad to say (this is unusual) and we all spent most of the day in our sunroom despite how cold it was outside as it felt tropical and inviting indoors. So, buy these ones. They're excellent! Ipdate: A year in, they still look great and my pets can't get sick from eating my "plants" now! Hurray!
