We had over 60 lbs of homegrown tomatoes, which we chopped up to make marinara sauce. We used a stainless steel pot and wanted to use wood utensils, which wouldn't affect the taste of sauce. If you've made marinara sauce from scratch, you'd know that there is constant stirring (for hours) involved. This huge, well made, solid wooden spoon was perfect for the job. And it was easy to clean afterwards.Definitely recommend this product based on the quality of the material.

Bought to use when making jams and jelly’s. It is the perfect size and was just what I was looking for to use with my 22 quart pot and to keep from burning myself.Due to the size it has to be stored in a different too. That my normal utensils but I store my canning stuff elsewhere.Would be great to use for a craft or decoration.

I make a LOT of stock - I mean, a ***LOT***! So, I tend to have a 5 gallon batch going when I make it, and regular mixing spoons just aren't long enough to get to the bottom of the pot without scalding my fingers. THis spoon is perfect for stirring big pots, and I love it!

This lovely thick-handled long spoon makes stirring a deep pot so much easier than a long-handled metal spoon! It's well-balanced and sturdy, with a nice finish. It also has a hole in the end of the spoon so that you can hang it up. Decorative as well as useful.

Solid bamboo spoon! Works great for the outdoor cooking that I do. Definitely recommend this if you are trying to save your arm from the heat of the arm. Also the quality is awesome!

Spoon looks like it will be a great addition to my kitchen. There was a small chunk of wood missing from handle when I opened it (just a factory quality control miss I am sure). I cant wait to use it

The media could not be loaded. When we first got it the spoon seemed sturdy and solid. It was more comfortable to use than a similar sized metal spoon and it was the perfect length to stir the extra large stock pot I have. However it fell apart after only two uses. I made a large batch of chicken soup and a large pot of chili. When I was ladling it out I noticed a chunk of wood that had come off the spoon. When I washed the spoon after the chili not only was a piece missing but the spoon layers had separated and the spoon was no longer solid. Absolutely disgusted!!
