Well, I know 'smaller water' is relative to what you think 'smaller' means. But, I like to troll smaller trout lakes and the Flash Lite series has made my fishing better and more enjoyable. My rig: 10 foot bass raider pontoon (pelican boats) and a Minn Kota endura C2 30 trolling motor. This is perfect for two people, stuff, and a decent trolling speed on a quiet lake. Anyway, I've tried heavier, metal blades and needed to go a little faster through the water. With the Lites, I can slow it down, still get a lot of flash, and ,most of all, a bunch of fish. I also get a better 'feel' when a fish strikes. I use a trailing Pistol Pete about 18 inches behind. It's great for my 3 and 5 year olds too since they like the pull of a fish, not the pull of the fishing rig. It's a great addition my trolling options. Couldn't be happier!
