The shimmer and application is easy. Makes your skin shiny and hydrated. The con- The smell is not my favorite but fades quickly

In the summertime, if I look out the window my face gets tan. Even though I use a ton of sunblock, I still get a lot of color. I thought this dry oil might help give my tan skin a healthy glow, so I requested it from Vine and here we are. This review is for: Makari 24K Rose Gold Multi-Purpose Dry Shimmer Oil (3.38 fl oz) | Body Shimmer Oil for Face, Hair and...Upon removing from the box, I thought for sure this oil would have way too much glitter for me. All the gold had settled in a solid chunk at bottom of the bottle. I shouldn't have worried, once I gave the bottle a good shake, the glitter seemed to distribute evenly throughout the bottle.A spray bottle would have been nice, but perhaps it wouldn't distribute the glitter evenly? Anyway, you'll need to pour some out which is a hard thing to describe. It does not feel like oil when you put it on, which I guess is why they call it a dry oil. Once on, I took a little while to get dressed because I wanted to be sure it wouldn't transfer to my clothes and it did not! However, I don't feel like it provides any moisturization at all. Since I didn't buy it for that, it's okay by me, but if you're also expecting some hydration you might want to apply another product first.Overall, I love this oil. I only wish that it was still summer, so I could wear it right now! But alas, most of my skin will not be making a public appearance before next May.

This is a lovely shimmering body oil. It has a very subtle scent of like baby powder. It definitely applies like a dry oil. It takes a good amount of product to evenly apply all over my skin. The gold shimmer looks stunning in the bottle and when applied it becomes a very beautiful soft shimmer. I was surprised to find that when I applied this oil it created like a sun kissed soft warm tone to my skin. Not to the extent of a bronzer or toner or something but just a very very soft subtle golden glow to my skin tone. Since this is absolutely a dry oil it behaves like a dry oil. It absorbs incredibly fast. It does feel very nourishing to my skin especially when applied after freshly shaving my legs.I don’t necessarily think I will apply this to my face because I don’t think I will want the shimmer all over my face. I might try it as a highlighter just on my cheek bones. I will consider applying it to the ends of my hair in between wash days. I actually really like the baby oil or baby powder scent this oil has. It eventually fades but I don’t mind the scent at all.This is my first experience with a multi purpose dry body oil. I have dry facial oils which I love and I have also been using bio oil for my entire body for years now. But this is my first all over dry oil and so far I really like it. I love how beautiful the shimmer looks in the bottom and how subtle it actually applies and translates on my body. I also love that my skin feels silky soft after application and this oil give my skin the perfect subtle sun kissed even tone look. I am very happy with this body oil and I would absolutely recommend it!

I absolutely love this. It is the perfect dupe for the ABH shimmer oil spray (and the Tom Ford). I have both and thinks this one is a tad better on brown to deeper complexions. It is a similar bottle as well BUT there is not spray. You have to take the stopper off this and rub it in with your hands. It’s gives such a natural glow and the texture of it is almost like almond oil (light, pleasant and gives a good shine). I have used this on my legs and chest and do not notice any transferring. A few drops goes a long way so this will last a very LONG time.

I love Makari products but for some reason I react to this particular one. Anytime I apply this oil I will sneeze all day probably because of the tiny gold glitters in it. Over all I think is a good oil.
