The instruction says to let it take several days to plush up. Here isn California it only took a few hours. My 1yr old loves it! It’s soft, plush, and easy to clean.

I bought this mat because we were looking for a mat or carpet big enough and soft enough to use for my new born son. I stumbled upon this specific type and brand and I read the materias and reviews and I decided to get it with hope that it would be perfect and it indeed was! I got the 5”X6” and it’s perfect for our living room where we play with our son. It’s soft enough for him to crawl around and lay down. It’s very easy to assemble, you do have to expand it and wait maybe 1 day (over night) to let it unfold completely because it’s packed very tight. It is best if you use a vacuum once you open it because it puffs it up. It’s easy to clean and vacuum, I do recommend using a portable vacuum because of the thickness of the mat. The bottom of it has grip so it doesn’t move around, it stays in the same spot. I don’t understand the bed reviews regarding this mat but I can confidently and honestly tell you, it was definitely worth it! 👍🏻 Now we use it under our huge playpen we got for our son and it fits perfectly under for him to play and crawl around inside 😃

I love this rug so much, it is my second time buying it! My son absolutely loves it (he’s 1). We watched our friend’s puppy for a week, thinking it would cure us of our puppy fever. After she messed on the rug more than a few times, we decided to throw it out and get a new one. The day it showed up he started play falling onto it, arms wide like he’s giving it a big hug.4 stars because it came with some lightly used stains, pretty sure they will clean up no problem, plus we’ll no doubt be adding to the collection. I must have bought the Amazon warehouse “like new” version? Anyway, it’s a great product, highly recommend!!

I read a lot of the bad reviews on how ‘awful this product looks and how thin it is upon unpacking’, but I’m glad I didn’t let them sway me from buying this rug! I was looking for something to cover our stone bathroom floor where my 8 month old is learning to crawl while I’m getting ready. This rug is just perfect! It makes our cold bathroom floor a warm, cozy, comfy place for her to play and crawl, and it is absolutely thick enough to protect her if she takes a topple! I even do my ab workouts on this rug because it is so soft and cushy and beats yoga mats!My photo above is what it looks like 5 days after opening. You can still see the lines from where it was folded, but I’m sure they will come out with time or a steamer (which I haven’t done). It arrives tightly vacuum sealed for shipping efficiency, so of course it isn’t just going to pop open and look perfect. Walking on it daily and running a vacuum over it helped to fluff the rug. The first couple days, the rug did look awful and it was thin and very wrinkly, but it just takes time! Be patient. It might take a week or so for it to fluff up fully. Great rug at a great price.

Just WOW! I am absolutely blown away with this rug. I was looking for something like a play mat but something softer and more durable because my babies started poking holes in their play mats that costed me $40-$60 each and they destroyed 2 of them already. When I found this, I was skeptical because of the reviews and how a lot of people said it’s not as thick as advertised BUT right after I opened the 5ftx6.8ft rug and placed it flat on the ground, within MINUTES the creases were all gone and it looked just like how it was advertised. I also bought one size smaller and that one did take a little longer to flatten (about a day) but now it’s PERFECT! My babies love the mats and take naps on it as well as mom and dad! I would recommend this to any parent with babies/kids because this is one of the best baby product I’ve ever bought HANDS DOWN!

I LOVE THIS MAT! Full disclosure: it smelled like chemicals for a few days and was so bad that I had to take it out of his room because I had a headache after nursing him to sleep which took 20 minutes. BUT I left it alone to fluff and air out in the middle of our walkway for a little over a week and now it’s amazing! The smell is gone, it’s super soft, thick enough so my active little one doesn’t hurt himself when he bonks his head, and is nice to look at. My husband spilled a whole cup of soda on the rug and was able to get it up with just towels. NO STAIN. it’s super easy to vacuum and I haven’t had any issues from vacuuming it everyday. He’s even had his sticky baby snacks on it and I was able to vacuum it right up without it sticking to the rug. We HIGHLY recommend! Just be prepared for the beginning of the process.

Put this in our baby play pen. Took a couple of days to fluff up. Overall, good amount of padding, soft, easy to wipe down, comfy.

Has been lyinf flat for 5 days and it still looks terrible. It never fluffed up and it very thin. My suggestion to the seller is to not vacuum seal this, it ruins it permanently. I bought one from another seller and it wqs slightly compressed and shipped rolled up in a bag. Took only 1 day to look great and is way thicker than this, despite supposedly being the same product.Buy from a seller that doesn't vacuum seal it and you'll be happy.
