Lousy subtitles
If you like using subtitles (especially useful in a production with an international cast where you get a lot of different foreign accents thrown at you) steer clear of this set: they are only available in Dutch.

This adaptation of the Borgias is very poor and actually rather boring .
I didn't like the way the story was told or the characterization of the figures involved . Very disappointing . Can't recommend it at all . Not a patch on the Francois Arnaud / Jeremy Irons series. ( Although Jeremy Irons wasn't terribly good as the pope , he was just " Jeremy Irons " as he is in most things .) But the rest of that cast was stunning ( except for Gina McKee , who only has 3 facial expressions and doesn't come across as either ambitious or scheming , her feelings don't show. )

Es una muy buena serie, con personajes complejos y llamativos protagonizados por excelentes actores, y la historia sin duda bien plasmada, te envuelve en aquella epoca.

Muy buena continuación
Nuevamente se presenta una recreación muy interesante de la época del Renacimiento, retratado en una de las familias más poderosas de la historia. Las actuaciones son excelentes, las locaciones son perfectas y el guión es adecuado. La serie se desarrolla con naturalidad y realismo. Es una excelente continuación de la primera temporada, inclusive la supera, ya que cada personaje es desarrollado individualmente y la trama se vuelve más elaborada.
