great quality for the price, better than I expected

These Cocoontools are pretty pink and the perfect gift for a young girl who is learning her way around the kitchen. I loved to bake with my grandma from when I was about 7 and would have loved this set of kitchen tools. Both the spatula and the spoon are Silicon and have that “give” on the working edge so you can easily get into corners. The stainless steel whisk is a medium size and has a light touch so your hand and arm don’t get tired when you have five minutes of whisking to do on certain egg/cream recipes. The thick fingers on the basting brush are the same kind recommended for BBQing on the TV cooking series ATK. They said silicon fingers were the clear favorite.I prefer Silicon to other materials because it does not pick up odors as quickly as other compounds. These are easy to wash, just a swish in warm soapy water should do it but they are also dishwasher safe. The tools are heat resistant to 450 degrees. I used the spatula to loosen lasagna from the edges of a casserole that I’d just removed from the oven with no ill effects.This is a sturdy set of kitchen gadgets that would make a great hostess, shower, welcome-to-the-neighborhood gift or keep them for yourself. As I said at the start – I love the pink color. My only con would be that I wish a pancake turner had been included in this set.

I am very happy I have these in my kitchen! Here's why:Silicone:I love how easy it is to cook with these and wash up after because nothing sticks to them. I get frustrated when I have to use something to scrape off food like eggs that get stuck to a wooden spoon. The spoonula is also great for making sauces - food doesn't get stuck on it and it doesn't scratch the pan like the metal ones do.The spatula is great. I'm a baker and I love the long firm handle and the flexibility of the head. I mix and fold a lot so this is fuss free. Everything gets scraped out of the bowl with ease!The Pastry brush is good for basting. It picks up and drips oil well and I like how the individual bristles are so flexible and fan out to get more coverage.Hanging Loops:I like that these have hanging loops so I can display them and get them easily.Fun color:So much better than the regular white! If they came in a multitude of colors I would buy an assortment of them. It makes your kitchen stand out just a little more cuz these are unique!Overall I love these very much and they have made my baking and cooking journey a lot easier and happier!This item was provided to me free for an unbiased and honest review.
