Sturdy, Adjustable Pool Pole That Gets the Job Done
This telescopic pool pole is sturdy, well made, and has been a great addition to my pool maintenance tools. The adjustable length makes it easy to reach the deep end of the pool while still being comfortable to use for everyday cleaning. I also like how easy it is to switch between attachments. The snap-in mechanism securely holds my pool net and brush, making it quick and convenient to change tools without any hassle. The aluminum construction feels durable without being overly heavy, and it has held up well with regular use. Overall, this is a high-quality pool pole at a great price. If you're looking for a reliable, adjustable pole for your pool accessories, this one is an excellent value.

Excellent Pool Pole — Solid, Sturdy, and Easy to Use
Very impressed with the ProTuff 490 Promise 16ft Telescopic Pool Pole. It feels extremely sturdy and well-built, even when fully extended, without the excessive flex you get with cheaper poles. The Lock-Right mechanism holds securely and makes adjusting the length quick and easy. It has a comfortable feel, works great with my pool attachments, and the 16-foot reach makes cleaning the entire pool much easier. Definitely feels like a professional-quality product that should last for years. Highly recommend!

Pricey luxury buy, but the wife loves it
I absolutely hate dealing with the pool. If it were up to me, I’d fill the damn thing with dirt and call it a day. But my wife and daughter love it, which means I end up buying the gear for it. I bought her this telescopic pool pole, and honestly, the price is flat-out insane for a pool pole. It felt like a total luxury splurge. That said, it really is a nice piece of equipment. She uses it all the time and says it’s lightweight, easy for her to maneuver, and the telescopic lock actually works without playing tug-of-war with it. Swapping out the attachments is quick and painless, too. The main reason I bit the bullet on the price was the lifetime warranty. We actually bought a different product from this company a few years back and had to use the warranty when it finally broke. They could not have made the replacement process easier—no hoops to jump through at all. The quality on this pole feels just as heavy-duty, and it’s clear this company actually stands by what they sell. It’s expensive, but if it keeps her happy and keeps me from buying a cheap plastic replacement every single summer, it’s a win.

Best Pool Pole - Ever
Best pool pole that I have ever owned and I owned quite a few. The Protuff 16ft telescopic pole is light sturdy and best of all has positive detents that lock the pole at various lengths. It comes with a lifetime warranty which I tested recently. The rubber handle kept sliding off of the pole so I contacted Protuff who without hesitation arranged to send out a replacement handle with glue to keep it on the pole. Protuff products aren't inexpensive but you get what you pay for. The pole comes with a clip in screw for the end which allows you to put brooms, paint rollers, etc. on the pole. (that's what the metal thing is in their photo). I would buy it again but I don't have to with the lifetime warranty. I've also bought their pool net and brush - both of which are excellent products

Best Pool Pole You Can Buy
I recently got the Pro Tuff Pool Pole and I've got to say, I'm really impressed. This thing is built to last! I've been using it for a while now, and it's still as sturdy as the day I bought it – no bending or signs of wear at all. What I love most is the adjustable length. It's super handy for reaching all corners of my pool without straining myself. The locking mechanism is solid too, keeping the pole at just the right length without slipping. It's also pretty versatile – I've attached different cleaning tools to it, like nets and brushes, and they all fit perfectly. The grip is comfortable, which is great for longer cleaning sessions. It's a bit on the heavier side, but honestly, that's a small price to pay for how durable and reliable it is. All in all, if you're looking for a pool pole that's going to last you a long time and make pool cleaning a breeze, the Pro Tuff is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

BEST Pool Pole and BEST WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Is it expensive for a pool pole? Yes. But I was tired of replacing these crappy weak wonky poles. And they are terrible to use. This is the most sturdy and pleasant to use pool pole. It sounds stupid bc its just a pole, but when you have to use it all the time... it makes things easier. And they really do mean the easiest warranty process you'll ever have. A screw eventually came out a few years later and I lost a piece of it.... you literally just contact them and say "I need this" and they say "okay shipped" They even have an option for expedited delivery on your warranty claims, they say it costs them extra so please dont do it unless you need to. But its still no questions asked. Awfully nice of them.... I didnt use it bc, no, I dont need my pool pole that bad (and I could still use it. Just couldnt retract it). To anyone who has a pool: buy this the next time you have to buy one. It absolutely will be the last one you ever buy.

Top of the line pole!
Wow..what a difference a quality piece of equipment this is. I've own our pool for 30 years and have always bought those cheap poles that last a couple of seasons if you are lucky. This new ProTuff is no joke. Its built like a tank. It's a heavy pole but it balances well. I absolutely love the double button release mechanism just really solid. This pole is expensive but buy once cry once! Now my son doesn't have anymore excuses not to clean the pool because our old poles were so hard to use.

Tough but not that tough, not perfect but worth it
If you're reading this, first of all this is the best pool pole out there(I would know I've tried many), if you don't use it a lot(just for your own pool) it will last forever(the warranty is top notch and they will communicate with you promptly) But if you use it a lot like I do it's not perfect but still worth it, with my own personal modifications as to how I use it because I'm rough with it and use it a lot. Tough but not that tough, as you can see I've modified it a bit. The bottom tip has a ball cause I drop it that way a lot, the handle comes off easily after a while and the glue they have in and they send in(if you put a warranty claim for the handle) doesn't really hold. I initially zip tied it cause the rubber part of the handle kept slipping but then the zip ties became a nuisance as it was hurting my grip. So this is my fix for that so far it's been great. The locking mechanism is great, the best out there. But after a couple of drops as you can see the lock button came off, the red part gets lose(find yourself a screwdriver and tighten it before it starts to crack like mine did eventually) but as far as I can tell you only need one button thing to lock and unlock the pole. It's never slip once it's locked in place, so far the lock holes are starting to show signs of wear. The top part(where you put in the net/brush etc.) has cracked so it's a bit lose so that's my fix. It is a bit hefty but I like it that way. I wish I had gotten the 12ft one. If you use this only for your pool I doubt you'll have any of this issues. For me I've been using this close to a year now. And I've used this over a thousand times by now. It's my longest lasting pole. If you use this once a week/month it may outlast your pool.
