I diluted this as instructed and used a whole 16 ounces on my springer, as it's very liquidy after diluting the 1 ounce with water. However that makes it sooo much easier to spread the shampoo around. Thick shampoo is just harder to get all over your dog.At first when I was drying him I thought the smell was odd and nothing like it smells in the bottle, but after he dried thoroughly he had a nice/pleasant scent that lasted for days and days. Normally he stinks as soon as he's dry!Fur- was VERY soft and silky feeling after bathing and drying.Definitely a fan of this for the long run.I bought a 1 gallon pump at Sallys Beauty for this gallon. Takes about 7 squirts to make an ounce.

This is my new favorite dog shampoo. the dogs come out clean as a whistle and the smell is delightful. highly recommend this product

This is a fairly good shampoo, smells nice and cleans pretty good.

Up front, the only reason I subtracted a star is that diluting it to 15/1 makes it too watery to properly clean the fur. I have a lab mix whose coat is quite water proof and I therefore need a better "grease cutting power." Keeping the dilution to 8/1 works for me in this case. It smells a bit more flowery during washing but that dissipates once the coat is dry and just leaves a pleasant scent instead of stinky doggie feet.Definitely recommended, just don't expect to get 15 gallons out of it unless you wash your dog all the time which really is not a good idea. Dog fur needs a certain oil content to protect from the elements.
