I got this because I've been working from home on the kitchen table and I don't want to damage the table. This was the largest I could find. It came rolled up in a box with a nice strap if I need to roll it up in the future. There was one part that was slightly crinkled, but not an issue worth returning it. I assume it will eventually flatten out.After a few days of use the chemical odor has been affecting me. I've noticed mild headaches on the day's I work from home towards the end of the day. The smell is annoying. Not sure if I'm going to return itAs you can see from one of the images, the Pad will take a little bit of time to flatten out (I assume). I just unrolled it yesterday so I'll give it some time. The only other thing is that it is off gassing and it has a distinct chemical odor. If you are sensitive to odors, you may need to let this sit out somewhere to off gas before using it. This wasn't the most expensive out there so I assume some of these issues are expected. My wife purchase a different brand and it sits nice and flat on your desk and she never complained about odor. They just didn't have as large.Again, only time will tell if the pad flattens out completely. for the most part, it serves it's purpose but the VOC off gassing is a bit much.

This thing smells horrible! It smells like cheap plastic leather that was dipped in dog ____!Just to be clear, I knew it was not going to be real leather, but didn't it expect it to be as cheap feeling as it is for the price they are charging. It feels nothing like leather, nor most fake leather you find many products made of. Its super thing, and the edges are short of sharp. I used it for a few days, just to see how well it worked, and after a while I started to get little cuts in my forearms. I had it on the edge of the desk, and I sometimes will rest my forearms against the edge depending on how close I'm sitting to the desk, or if I have the desk raised up (its a Jarvis motorized desk). Additionally, the smell rubbed off on my arms from use of using the mouse around and resting my forearms down while typing. Thankfully a little dawn was able to get the smell off my forearms..The only brightside to this mat is if you have a cat, at least a cat that is wise to bad smells.. Our kitten loves to get up on my desk while I'm working and just lay between the keyboard and the monitor, or she will watch the mouse pointer move across the screen. If I'm sitting at the desk, she is usually on the desk.. In the few days I had the mat on the desk, she would not get up on it.. but as soon as I removed the mat, she was right back on the desk... So it makes a good cat deterrent! One star for that! (well one star really because Amazon doesn't allow a zero star rating)

The mat was surprisingly easy to unroll and lay flat. I was concerned that it would tend to curl up, but it was instantly flat and very attractive

Very satisfied with the desk pad, quality is amazing, thickness is ideal for my desk. No problem when I write on top of it, no holes in the paper. Feels very smooth. Gave my desk that professional look that I was looking for. Will recommend it to more people.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. It came very timely and packaged impressively. The texture is perfect and it unrolled and laid down on my desk surface perfectly. It’s a handsome and quality product. Highly recommend it.

Beware of shill reviews. Nobody could tolerate the fierce chemical odors emitted from this matt, as others have complained. My office and desk stink after just a few minutes. Plasticizers and solvents are unhealthy. Another reviewer attempted cleaning without success, so I won't waste more time.Regarding the matt function, it works well for my choice of quality pens and paper, particularly on the less textured side. It's quite thin, but that yields about the right amount of rubbery give for me. I wouldn't want softer myself, though much thicker blotters are common. The aesthetics are fine for the price. I can't comment on durability or even how it lays over time, because I had to get that smell out of the house.

This desk pad is great! Fits all my "stuff" at work. No need for a mouse pad

We recently added 2 new desks to our office space and needed pads to protect the wood surfaces. These pads fit perfectly, look amazing, and are great quality for the price. In addition, we were very impressed with the care taken in packaging. There was absolutely no way these pads could have gotten damaged! We would not hesitate to order from this vendor again!
