Revolutionized my phone experience!!
I'll say upfront that I am not a big tech guy, so I know this ability has been around for a long time, but I finally got around to upgrading my experience. And this Totu USB-C hub made it happen, it is so awesome, I love it! Since I got my first smart phone in 2012, I have wondered why I couldn't use it like a computer. Of course having the smart phone capacity in my pocket is extremely useful, but I wanted to be able to "dock" it and use a bigger screen, regular keyboard/mouse, external hard drive etc. Well, this hub makes it happen so easily!! Holy Toledo! I literally shouted in celebration when I simply plugged my monitor into it and then just plugged my Samsung Galaxy phone in using the Totu's only wire and BAM--Instant projection of my phone screen, so satisfying!! And even better, you can use your phone screen separately from what's on your monitor, like having multiple screens on a home computer--so great, instant multitasking!I can type on my phone keypad/screen and have it appear on the monitor of course, but I wanted to take it to the next level so I purchased the "Logitech MK270 wireless keyboard and mouse combo for windows" and I'm almost in disbelief how I waited this long! I was about to buy a separate mouse and keyboard, but then the combo was only 3 dollars more. And what turned out great about the combo is it shares a single usb wireless unit, so it only takes up one port on the Totu hub, so nice. This combination, the Totu, the wireless mouse and keyboard and my old monitor I pulled out of storage has made my smart phone into a computer that I can do most of what I can do on my laptop and a few things that I can't do on my laptop. If you get tired of looking at your small phone screen or typing on the small phone keypad and want a grander, easier experience, then this hub is for you! I've already ordered a better quality touch screen monitor for it and I'm going to order a second Totu and put it in our central area so my wife, kids or myself can just walk in, plug in, do our thing and the unplug and walk away making our life so much easier. I live on a farm with a lot of livestock and crops and run a number of apps on my phone where we're entering data and such all the time so I get tired of doing all that on my small screen. This one simple hub has changed so much for me, I'm so grateful. The hub comes with the 13 ports as described in the description. It came very fast in a small, simple but padded box. I opened it, didn't have to do anything to it but plug in and it worked great. The Pro I love the most about is It has no moving parts, so it's stone quiet. Doesn't need a battery or separate cable of its own to work. But If you plug in a power source (I'm using my same USB-C phone charger and cable), it will charge your phone while docked which is great. And if you want to run something that requires power, like an external CD drive, it will need power. But on it's own, it works as is for the basics (monitor, keyboard and mouse). My one Con is the length of the cable. It could be longer for me. It means I have to have my phone right next to it. The hub cable length without the jack is 6". You can see it in the picture. It's fine, it works, but I can't tuck it out of the way which kinda bugs me. I like tidy. But I just ordered a USB-C extension cable for 15 bucks and that will solve it.Another feature I love about it with this keyboard and mouse attached is you can control everything on your phone with them. I have a wireless speaker, the Tribit Xsound, which I like. It's simple, it works. It's been very rugged. And I can control it with the volume keys on the keyboard through my phone. And all the arrow keys on the keyboard move in all directions across the screen on the apps like my text messaging app and so it gives a general feel of being able to move across the screen with a finger. So I can access the box for writing, the photo attach button, the send button all of it, with the arrow keys, tab key or the mouse, so convenient! (I crave things that work as described and are simple, reliable and useful and I like using keyboards and keyboard shortcut keys so this really works for me rather than reaching for the mouse especially with all the data entry apps I use). All this to say, this simple device with the basic additions has completely changed my technology experience by allowing me to use my phone in the field and then walk right in and use it as a computer. I highly recommend it!!

Solid USB-C hub; check the compatibility with your monitors
This USB-C hub is very well made; the quality in on par with the 8-in-1 hub from the same manufacture that I bought earlier. I like that it comes with a nice soft pouch, making it very travel friendly. The 12-in-1 hub is only slightly longer than the 8-in-1 hub, although it looks much bigger in photos. All USB ports, the Ethernet port, USB-C PD port, and SD/TF slots work well as expected. As the product page indicated, the USB ports only supplies a low output so it charges my phone only in slow mode. When it runs, the hub surface gets warm (more so than the 8-in-1 version), but it's not something to worry about. I was particularly interested in the monitor connections. Because I only have two external monitors to connect, I didn't bother to test the VGA port.I wanted to use the hub to connect two monitors to my laptop. It is a Lenovo Thinkpad T480 with a Core i7-8650U CPU, which supports up to 3 displays. Because my T480 has a PD compatible USB-C port, I can plug my laptop's power adapter into the USB-C PD port on this hub to power my computer. So if everything works as expected, I only need to plug the USB-C male adapter of this hub into my laptop and all my peripherals, including two external monitors, will be connected, making this hub a one-connection-for-all docking station. One of my monitors is 4K and the other one is 1920x1200. Although I was able to successfully connect each monitor individually through the hub by using either HDMI or DP, I had some trouble connecting both of them through the hub in extend mode. Whichever monitor I connected first showed correct resolutions etc, but the second one didn't show up right. The best scenario I got was correct resolution on the 4K monitor but 1920x1080 (instead of the native resolution 1920x1200) on the second monitor. After reading the product description on Amazon, I realized that this is what the hub is designed to do: with only one monitor being able to go beyond 1080p and all other limited at 1080p. So eventually I had to connect my second monitor through my the HDMI port of my laptop. Although it's no longer one-connection-for-all, it's still not bad.So if you are thinking to buy this hub for connecting all your monitors, make sure to first check the resolution of your monitors. It works the best if you have only one monitor with a resolution higher than 1080p (e.g. 4K) and all others at 1080p. You will get two (or three) external monitors working properly. But if you have more than two monitors with resolution higher than 1080p, make sure your laptop has another display output besides the USB-C port.

Great for Working from Home
I work full-time while enrolled in classes. I was looking for a dock that would support 2 monitors. So glad that I purchased this before pandemic so that my home office was ready to go. It has more than enough ports to expand my capabilities and takes up minimal space. I knocked a star off because the connector c cord is very short, it does not charge my computer so it needs a separate power supply; also the ethernet connection has never worked for me. Maybe these issues are isolated to my own (lack of know-how) but only when connecting the power supply and ethernet directly to my laptop does my computer connect wired and power up. For reference I am using a professional Dell latitude-series laptop. Otherwise no issues to report and like I mentioned the fact that it supports dual monitors was my main focus and it has worked well.
