Caran D’Ache is top notch quality. to write with these ball points is to fall in love instantly. They caress the paper they write on, gliding effortlessly on the medium. Once you have had the experience, you will have a hard time going back to anything else. Sure, they are expensive but worth the cost.

Nice refills
I got the black medium ink refills for my new Caran pen as it came with blue. I like how this ballpoint writes. I usually use gel pens, but when I need to write with ballpoint, this brand is very nice.
