This is a reproduction hybrid. The fuel bottle, stove and windscreen are the real deal, the pot and lid are built the same with two small but important differences the handle on the lid does not have the d rings, which give you the ability to add a stick to lengthen the handle are missing. The final difference is the missing hook on the bail. The hook allows for hanging over the fire or making a ridged handle for pouring, not major, but important.

The original parts were in good condition but the reproduction parts were scratched up badly even though the label says "new"

Exactly what it says it is. I bought these 10 years ago for $15. The new pot/pan is much nicer than the old surplus ones though. Heavy for packing, very functional. Replaced burner with new spirit immediately. I use it weekly at Crystal Lake to make coffee & soup where I volunteer for forestry service.

Pot and cup are new aftermarket aluminum as indicated. All other original components were in great shape, no dents or scratches. Hesitated to buy as it seemed a little expensive although after I received it was happy with the better than expected condition. Yet to take to the field.

It is not an original product.The Barcode code shows other things .But the product is good quality And lightweight.I wish to have the rings of the handle and the hook And fire extinguishing cover .IGive him three stars because of the scratches

Excellent piece of kit . Doesn't have the rings on the handle for using a stick as an extension over an open fire . But I use mine with the alcohol stove so it's not major .
