One of the best pens I’ve ever used.
Anyone who is “particular” about their pens, knows that it’s very rare to come across a new pen that just “wows” us. This pen is my new absolute favorite to us. It has a really satisfying click when you push down to use it. Weird, I know, but some of you will understand. The plastic on the outside is incredible soft, but allows you to grip much better then other plastic on pens. It’s almost a little rubbery feeling. Since I work behind a bar a lot, I always keep my pen behind my ear for easy access to grab & use it. It occasionally falls on the ground when I put it behind my ear, but never once has a single one broken on me. I’m 6’ tall so that’s a decent size drop. These pens are super lightweight, which is okay, but I would prefer if they were a little heavier. The gel ink itself glides smoothly, is very thin (0.5mm), & incredibly crisp. They do not bleed at all, & dry just as fast as you write with it. I did have one of the pens loose it’s consistency. It was the first one I used, then threw in a drawer & didn’t use it for another month or so, then frantically grabbed it out of that drawer when I had to write something down while on the phone. That was the only one out of the entire pack that did that, so I’m not mad. My favorite thing about these pens is that there is no writing anywhere on the outside case. There’s a very small “logo” that says “Kaci” on the side of the clip. You only notice it if you look for it. I’ll use these pens for the rest of my life.

They write so pretty
I ordered these in the beginning of the year for school, and I absolutely love them.I love how they write-the colors are really vibrant and pretty. And I really like the fine point. I tend to write a lot bigger and so having a pan that has a smaller tip is better for me.One thing that sometimes bothers me and sometimes doesn’t is how smooth the pen is.It really depends on how I’m feeling or what I’m doing because if I have to write a lot, my hands tend to get a little bit sweaty and that makes it harder for me to hold this pen but if I’m just doing some leisure writing and I’m relaxed and my hands aren’t very sweaty then it’s great. There’s no problems. So if you’re someone who has naturally sweaty hands or use have sweaty hands, when you’re stressed out, these pens might not be the best for you because they’re very very smooth lol

I had so much fun coloring! Useful for precision coloring in tight spots.
I colored mittens in my coloring book which allowed me to try each color. These are specially great for coloring because while they have plenty of ink, they don't burp on the paper. Smooth and consistent flow of ink. The nib point is 0.5 mm (EF) which when used on cheaper copier paper leans more toward a Fine point. But the plus of any extra fine point is that it allows for precision coloring (see pic). The pen has a matte, sateen finish on the body which ensures against slipping or sweaty hands. I would not use this pen for extended periods of writing, however, as it would not be so comfortable for me (too slim for my hands). Here are the pros and cons based on my experience:Pros:Extremely affordable for gel pensA nice variety of colors with plenty of black for artistsWell-packaged for storage and gift givingRetractable instead of screw cap or snap cap (highly efficient)Cons:The ink flow varied a bit. While most provided a proper flow of ink, a couple seemed to be on the drier side. It could be the specific ink (the two grays and what they have labeled yellow) or it could be the specific pens I received.or something else.I would not write with them for long periods of time.On a side note, I would request the manufacturer to continue presenting new colors and also different nib points. Personally, for writing, I would prefer to use a 0.7mm or 1.0mm. I am a fountain pen user and prefer M and B nibs. This whole set is going to go to my nephew who likes to color. With 20 pens though (of which 5 in Retro black), packaged in 4 boxes with five pens each, I can easily mix and match and use them as stocking stuffers for four people. Just a thought.

Cuuute pigmented colors
This pen set is the cutest pastel set I’ve purchased. The fine tip makes it easy to write in my planners without it looking too crowded. The ink dries quick so there is no smudging. The only con is the yellow is some what of a muted color. You have to go over the lines a couple times before it stands out.

"Old" and Sticky
50% (two boxes of 5) of the pens were "healthy" but the other 2 were sticky due to latex/rubber deterioration. I found that the side of the boxes have dates and they were stamped from 09/2020 to 09/2022. This means that they've been in a warehouse all this time.(See photo for dates and sticky pickup on one of the pens, in background)The pens write well enough but not as smooth as I'd have expected. Sometimes they "hiccup".I would say, buyer beware. As another person has stated in their review, they bought a set that was fine and the next was sticky. You seem to have a 50% chance that the soft coating will arrive with aging and tackiness.

My favorite pens!
I absolutely LOVE these pens! They are a little more expensive than other pens out there but they are so worth it. The colors are awesome, they write so smooth and I love how they feel. These are the only pens I will use because they are genuinely that good. I would buy these over and over again and recommend them to anyone. The quality is amazing and they last a good amount of time. If you are someone who likes aesthetics, these are a great choice!
