Good POE switch, Cudy FS1010P 8+2-Port 100Mbps Ethernet PoE
The POE switch is working good for a few weeks now, do not feel any heat coming off of it which is good. Like another comment on here mentioned the power cord it came with was wired with neutral and live backwards, and the power cord was also a bit short. Not sure if it makes any difference to have the power cord wired that way. It uses a standard computer cable power cord, which I had extra laying around so I tossed the cord it came with and used a longer one wired the regular way. POE cams work good with this switch, also plugged an Ethernet cable into an old laptop and into a POE port to see if the POE ports power would damage the old laptop, it worked fine no damage. So then connected network cable into a better laptop and into the POE port, it worked fine also. Do not know if the power cord the switch came with would also allow a laptop to plug into a POE port without damage since I did not use the cord it came with. Also the activity or link LED's are very small located below where the 8 POE network cables plug into the switch so they are not very visible once all the cables are plugged in. overall it is working good and would recommend or buy again.

Good, affordable PoE switch
This PoE switch does what it says and works well with my cameras. The ports are 10/100MPS but that's all you need for the cameras. I don't have any need for VLAN or extended range and haven't tested those features.

Not bad for the price
This switch started acting up after a little over a year but is was in a control room with 90 deg F temps. I used it for POE ip cameras but retired it to use as a standard switch for non critical applications. For near the same price I would rather use BV tech POE-SW800E switches.

working well with 8 PoE cameras
I have this mounted out in our chicken coop running 8 PoE cameras. It's technically "outside" under the roof of the coop so it's not getting directly rained on or anything but it is exposed to 20F temps and a lot of dirt and chicken dander. So far it's solid, no issues powering the cameras and while I've not tested the max throughput of the switch it's kept up with the cams streams just fine.

Works and works well
When my qsee nvr went belly up, i needed a way to continue using all of my ip cameras. I already had a nas, but i need a way to connect the cameras to the network. Enter the cudy 8 port poe. Easy to setup, easily handles PoE or non PoE devices.

Great inexpensive POE switch for security cameras.
Seems to work as well as anything else. Not gigabit but for security cameras who cares, right? Dedicated uplink port and NVR port means you have 8 free POE ports for cameras and no need to tie up an extra port on the router. At this price point no complaints so far. Time will tell how reliable it is.

Solid Build
Very solid metal build with wings to install in 19” rack. Powers the 6 8Mpix H265 cameras I have attached with no problems. 100 MBPS works okay, but wish I saw and got the 1G switch to future proof.

Works very well
I replaced my 6 port with this 8 port and it connected easily.

Needed for POE devices
I decided to change my security camera system over to POE cameras, which means they need power delivered over Ethernet. A traditional router or hub would not provide adequate power, so I needed one of these. Nicely constructed; reminds me of my first 2400 baud Hayes-compatible modem from the late 1980's. In a day and age where everything seems to be made out of plastic crap, it's good to know that someone still knows how to properly manufacture computer peripheral components for a reasonable price. I feel confident that it will not catch fire and burn my house down.

Simple,Cheap & it just works
Bought this to handle 3 IPCAMs over POE.Pros: Simple easy to hook up, no drama period. And did I say it was cheap?Cons wish it was gigabit but my application really doesn't need it so yeah....Will update this review in twelve months time.

Great Unit, Beware of IEC cable!
The unit works great so far, plug and play, just works.BIG NOTE! BEWARE that the included IEC cable (power cord) is wired backwards. Its Neutral is Live and Live is Neutral. in terms of this device it may not matter but to be safe and not accidentally use it on another device, I suggest to toss the cable, if the device wasn't as good value for function this would have been enough to be sent back as the case is metal and the equipment down the lines is expensive. if it was not for the cable I'd give it 5/5

Product as described
Worked perfectly. No issues at all. Plug and play and started picking up devices immediately.Couple of devices are far - probably 300 ft away, but worked without any issues. Have turned on the "distance switch" just in case.
