Q: I thought my mop was by O'cedar, but it says Vileda on the side of it. The two companies are somehow related. Will this refill fit the Vileda?

My vileda pole had info about mop printed on it as Mop Refill #5418R. I asked a question here on Amazon but nobody could come through with an answer that was 100% positive or negative. Therefore I went ahead and bought this mop refill... I am glad to report that it fits so I can say with absolute certainty that if you have a vileda pole instructing to buy Mop Refill #5418R, you can go ahead and get this item, because it will fit perfectly.As the snap on mechanism is most likely patented, it's very probable that Vileda (UK company) has partnered with O'cedar to sell their items in the US market (but that's just my supposition). I hope the info above will help you getting the right product.

No, the O-Cedar refill does not screw on. It has a square plastic head that in is inserted into a Vileda broom mop and then secured in place by pushing or pulling a a black plastic piece over the insertion point to hold it in place.

Q: How many replacements come per order? Says 4 pieces, is that 4 mop heads?

I do not understand why it says 4 pieces, because when I ordered my refill, I only received one mop head. I would write the maker of this product to ask them.
