ERPS30M2 Range Surface Element

This was really awesome. The old burner on our GE stove were, by the previous owners of the house, pretty badly torn up. It had been bothering me for about a year---let's replace these burners and drip pans. I was wondering if perhaps I was being a little crazy, and how much difference it would really make. Was it worth $50 (that's about how much replacing all 4 elements would be)?Well I was shocked at what a difference it was. In terms of materials and performance, these are pretty much exact duplicates of our "Cal-Rod" elements from GE, the surface is nice and smooth, and I'm certainly getting full heating performance. And it's a huge, huge, visual improvement, very unexpected how much difference it made. It almost feels like a brand new stove.The attached picture shows my four new elements, include the two 8" elements (this item), and the matching 6" elements from this same company. Highly recommended. If you think you might need a replacement, you do. Do it.

I like that it gets hot when I turn on the stove and gets cold when I I turn it off.

Ordered with the recommended drip pans. The element didn't fit the pans (maybe just 1/16th to 1/8th inch too big). I haven't been able to find any Amazon sponsored pans that I have confidence will fit. The element did fit in the ancient original range pans with the 3 slots cut in the triangular orientation.So, the element looks fine to me, but I can't give a 5 star failing to understand the lack of fit with the (Range Kleen) pans. Just putting out a word of caution in buying these together.(if I had bought these for me vs. helping a friend, I would have taken a hack saw or a grinder and put the fix on)

Work great on our Kenmore Range Top. Even heat distribution and a good flat surface for pots and pans. A very good option instead of the original OEM 3 ring elements. You may find it necessary to bend/align the contact wires to allow them to lay flat as the contact wires ae the 4th "pivot point" of the burner. I just bent the wires downwards a few degrees to obtain the perfect fitment.

I asked my apartment management to correct the level effect of my stove. This product for the risk of cooking and the cost was well worth the cost to my family to not put into harms way with what was provided as a furnished apartment. Thank you,

Fit my apartment’s Hotpoint stove. The element it came with was really old and warped to the point my pans did not lay flat causing my food to cook unevenly. This completely solved my problem!

This is a replacement for mine which burned up, how this happened I have no idea. It has more coils than my original, seems to heat my pans better. Fit my stove perfectly. Easy to install. <y only concern at the time was it look like the one coil was a little higher than the others but that wasn't noticeable when I used it. I like it.
